In a nutshell, Rocka put a curse on Derby. They were unaware and spent a long time blaming everything from Michael Barrymore through to Spoons, a compilation immortalised earlier on this thread. Eventually they'd find out and one Derby fan, Crewton, moaned more than the rest. Rocka cursed him too, turning him into a manbaby. Crewton thinks that curse will lift in the next few weeks, but as we all know now...

This meant tactical genius Rooney would have a really healthy budget to steer HMS piss the league to promotion by Christmas.
When you add the absolute certainty that our very own playoff push would be derailed or end in some sort of humiliating collapse at the end then there was so much to be positive about.
