Imo what's most likely happened is he bought the stadium for Kitchener and when he pulled out he was too far gone to stop the sale.

what exactly is happening over there?
How are they saying that they are going to sign so many players? Does the embargo finish when the club is sold? ( I didn’t think it would).
Is Mr Clowes going to use the majority of his wealth to keep them going and pay off the debt?
Its a massive bottomless pit!!

ps Tom Barkhuizen was a good player a couple of seasons ago, caught Covid and never came back. I think he will be looking for a better wage than he will be offered at Derby, when the salary cap comes into force.

"The final signature has been made, unfortunately it was in error as someone made the error of signing for the delivery of two ten foot tables in the belief that they could be pushed together.
As most business experts will attest, unfortunately it MUST be a single 20 foot table according to international business law when someone is signing their business, family and future away for it to be legally binding, we await further developments on the table front and will update accordingly.
For reference we have had to order a bespoke 23ft table because our friends at the EFL have mentioned that we need to make allowances for -3 being deducted from the league one table, we will confirm shortly, just after soon and before imminently when we can update on the next timings that are in no way deadlines".

It'll probably still go through, but it's clearly not as close as Quantuma lead people to believe and the deal has clearly hit some sort of issue.
Given how this latest statement contradicts Quantuma's earlier claim that the deal was only waiting for one signature, you can't really believe a word they say. It's astonishing how incompetent and unprofessional they are.
