FFS! why doesn't somebody defend the poor bugger and stand up to these bullies. I certainly would but I'm unable to post on there.
The scum are at him again.

The EFL may have some issues with money from undislosed sources.Gonna be awkward when Appleby submits his bid (which is funding by "mystery investors") and the admins say it's not enough, just like they did with his last bid, and the one before that, and before that... you get the picture.
The only bloke willing to put enough cash up was somebody with absolutely no cash.
Interesting take from someone today
Club to be liquidated, Pride Park to be sold for redevelopment, as it is Pride Park is sucking the life out of derby town centre, the land for the new ground will be gifted by derby council somewhere else in derby.
They will start from the very bottom and have to climb up the leagues to get back.

Why is Pride Park sucking the life out of Derby? There’s f*** all there but industrial units, car shops and a Greggs!
I agree.Yeah some offices too. I think the Intu/Derbian carbuncle is more responsible for the demise of the city centre though.
Agree. Peak District is great, the rest of it not so much. Apologies to those living in Derby who are quite fond of it.I don't think it's me being bias but I have always found Derby to be a dull place. I have never thought "i'll go to Derby" today despite me living the same distance between Derby and Nottingham city centres.
For me, it really is just like a pound shop version of Nottingham, it does nothing better. Derbyshire is really nice, the city of Derby is a boring dump.
I agree. I don't think Derby is the worst city out there, but it is dull and there's nothing that makes it stand out. It doesn't really have anything going for it.I don't think it's me being bias but I have always found Derby to be a dull place. Leave, on the earliest train to Nottingham. What is there to do in Derby other than regret whatever decisions in life lead to you being there?
A good mate of mine‘s band play at the Hairy Dog fairly regularly. It’s an interesting venue. They’ve some great smaller live music venues that Nottingham has lost with the dominance of DHP venues, in defence of Derby.
Hairy Dog and The Venue in particular.

Or acquire some other vehicular means and get the hell out of there. That was to change trains.

My mam used to go on the free bus with her mate to Derby to pass the time along, but when you hit 90 any change of scenery is a bonus.Agree. Peak District is great, the rest of it not so much. Apologies to those living in Derby who are quite fond of it.
Their fans will feel right at home going to Accrington, Barnsley, Fleetwood and Port Vale then - and that’s if they‘re lucky and the team doesn’t get dumped by the EFLDerby is boring & grim
There used to be a massive poster just inside the door, which said “Don’t be a c###” and some of the staff used to wear t-shirts with the same slogan round Tesco at lunch times.A good mate of mine‘s band play at the Hairy Dog fairly regularly. It’s an interesting venue.

It used to be OK , I spent a year working there about a million years ago and it was a thriving market town with a fairly eclectic selection of indepenent shops. The indoor market in the market place was always interesting and the art deco bus station shouyld really have been preserved. In my veiw they made a huge mistake when they decided they were a city and not a market town, add to that the construction of a shopping mall which is far too big for the footfall which then proceeded to suck the life out of the rest of the town.I don't think it's me being bias but I have always found Derby to be a dull place.
