Speaking as a half- irishman, frankly his disgraceful cheating, and complete and utter disregard for both the spirit, and rules, of the game ensures that were I to journey to New York at some point and encounter Thierry on fire in the street, I would steadfastly refuse to piss on the obnoxious, devious, cheating, scumbag!

For all his undoubted talent as a footballer, he is a bum-scuffling oxygen thief of the highest order.

Not that we are bitter or anything, but it would be a brave move from Henry to venture anywhere near Ireland for - oh, I don't know - the next 200 years or so?

Does that answer your question?

France saved Ireland's blushes at flopping out of a world cup with only 1 point and 1 goal scored ;)

Would feel bad for ireland but would they feel bad for England if that happnded to us

Never mind.

Even if Ireland had gone on to win the whole bloody thing, the victory would have paled in comparison to the world famous 1917-1921 Brit walloping glory days!

Thanks Ned Broy and Davey Nelligan,
Micky's gonna give'em hell again!
