Have you tried Paul Walker's in Long Eaton?Only if it's Birds haslet, or Barlow's in Newthorpe.
Sliced white bread goes better with haslet than cobs.
I would actually use Riberio as the oncoming sub. He looked more than decent and played a sublime ball to Origi for him then to f*** up.Hard to know here his best position is really, is it in the stands or sitting at home? Not really sure how he is best deployed.
We could, and probably should have brought Emmanuel Dennis back in January and sent this guy back to Milan, for a few reasons really.
It's not that Dennis is the second coming or anything, but he's our player. Our player that we have really heavily subsided going back to Watford and considering how that has gone for him, he's probably not worth much in the way of a fee now. Origi took about six months to look like anything useful and after a couple decent games, he's back to being useless.
At least Dennis is rapid and he'd have been confident enough to put his f***ing foot through that chance Origi had. Origi didn't score against Bristol City, he was hit by the ball.
Divock doesn't believe and neither does anyone else. Play Konate or someone if we're short. Hell, I'd take Big Cheik on the wing at this point lmao.

This is one of my concerns with Nuno. It always feels as if he's a step or two behind the curve.I would actually use Riberio as the oncoming sub. He looked more than decent and played a sublime ball to Origi for him then to f*** up.
I really do get the feeling that Nuno is quite a stubborn guy. This is one of my concerns with Nuno. It always feels as if he's a step or two behind the curve.
I get trusting in experience, and I get he may needed to have got Ribero up to speed, but I don't believe that he couldn't have tried Ribero a bit more in a few more games to at least look at him and give him a chance to force Origi down the pecking order.
Maybe Ribero will turn out to be pap, but with Origi offering so little for so long, I genuinely don't see any reason why he shouldn't have had more game time already tbh.
That's not necessarily a bad trait in a football manager. A certain Mr BH Clough was as stubborn as they came.I really do get the feeling that Nuno is quite a stubborn guy.
True, although it's a different story when you're actually getting results. That's not necessarily a bad trait in a football manager. A certain Mr BH Clough was as stubborn as they came.
At this stage its hard to know whose net it will be thoughHe's smashing the winner in from 35 yards at Goodison next week is Big Divock
It does sound worryingly close to how I imagine our recruitment meetings must go. Daniel Taylor wrote an article last season that mentioned that the Greeks have a real obsession with dealing with the elite clubs and it would make sense. Pure vanity it seems."Played for Liverpool?" "Sounds promising".
"Scored in Champions League you say?" "I really like the sound of him".
"Not only that. He's also played for AC Milan and for the Belgium national side".
"Damn, and you say he's only 28 years of age?" "Yeah. In his peak, sir". "Ok, I'm sold. Get him in. Pay him whatever he wants"
"Has anyone checked his overall scoring record though?"
"No, why on earth would we need to do that?"
It reminds me a bit of Fawaz, and his Man U obsession. It does sound worryingly close to how I imagine our recruitment meetings must go. That's a very interesting insight into what makes EM tick... I hadn't him as having an inferiority complex that he needs to keep feeding. It does sound worryingly close to how I imagine our recruitment meetings must go. Tbf if you're abroad and "follow" a PL team it's likely it will be one of the big clubs. It reminds me a bit of Fawaz, and his Man U obsession.
Course, but it's when owners think they can change us into those clubs which irks.Tbf if you're abroad and "follow" a PL team it's likely it will be one of the big clubs.
By jingo, I must be the exception to that argument then!Tbf if you're abroad and "follow" a PL team it's likely it will be one of the big clubs.
I was really on about Fawaz, EM and others who aren't already from here - you probably know that thoughBy jingo, I must be the exception to that argument then!
No, I am unaware of this cooked meat purveyor.Have you tried Paul Walker's in Long Eaton?
It's okay he won't be having any. He'll get the knife next to the cake ready to cut a slice only to miss the cake completely.
