He made his bed, let him lie in it.If we could get him cheap, I’d have him straight away at Forest. Unfortunately this is Daniel Levy, so Spence is doomed to stay in the footballing wilderness for the next few years.
Does not matter, as a wingback he is better than all of them.We don't need a right back/right wing back. We have three already.
Let it go guys. He's not coming back.
Exactly, if it wasn't Spence nobody would even be discussing a right back. We have 3 on our books that can currently play there and he isn't guarenteed to be better than any of them because he's played about 10 minutes in the Premier League. He made his bed, let him lie in it.
Afternoon Bob.Whilst I get the desire for him to come home, Aina looks to have very similar attributes & might even be a step up.
So on that basis alone- I don't see the point.
Afternoon Cap'n.Afternoon Bob.
Sobriety and sensible posts back in faqshion in the fossil household.
Sadly, I missed all the sparky stuff from last night
Seriously, good to see you doing the right thing.
Possibly... me and the mrs were at the Regal in Melton watching "Indianna Jones and the Failure of CGI" until mid-evening, and then we were pigging out on Chinky takeaway, listening to Snowy white on the old gramophone, whilst drinking too much rather pleasant Merlot.Afternoon Cap'n.
It was Saturday night. I think
Hard to say if he's better than our current options. He's completely untested in the Premier League. Aina looks more than capable of being our first choice right wing back IMO.Does not matter, as a wingback he is better than all of them.

Bang on. If he hadn't played for us before, absolutely no one on here would be advocating signing him (or any right back/right wing back for that matter). Any clamour for bringing him back now is based purely on sentiment rather than any real logic.Exactly, if it wasn't Spence nobody would even be discussing a right back. Whatever perspective you look at this it's an absolutely pointless transfer.
He was pretty crap in Ligue 1 last season by the way. It's quality over quantity but only when its suits?
See I say all of this rational stuff & stand by it.Whilst I get the desire for him to come home, Aina looks to have very similar attributes & might even be a step up.
Aina, Neco & Serge can all play RB.
Bosa (????), Aina & Neco can all play LB.
So on that basis alone- I don't see the point.
That whole season was from the minute Cooper walked through the door something magical happened and i will never forget it but I do think it's time to move onSee I say all of this rational stuff & stand by it.
And then I watch this and I get the chills. He was absolutely majestic for us wasn't he.
You have to go to see the latest (hopefully, the last) Indianna Jones film to catch my drift. Is that the Failure of City Ground Improvement s
Yes brice was ridiculous and should of been offered rhe money and rhe number one spot instantly on promotionI'd still take him, only one from that season I'd want back, oh and Brice
How do you know he wasn't offered the money, but turned it down as he always wanted to go back to play in France?Yes brice was ridiculous and should of been offered rhe money and rhe number one spot instantly on promotion
Your right I don't but the rumours of him being fuming and disrespected didn't come from nowhere I believe mitaldis wanted a big name as number 1 and samba quite rightly got the hump and left. How do you know he wasn't offered the money, but turned it down as he always wanted to go back to play in France?
I don't know if that scenario is true... but it might be possible.
Aurier should never be anything more than an emergency stop gap in the centre. His lack of height would see him targeted if he played there regularly.Better than Neco and could let Aurier compete centrally. Gerrim in.
