I second that
I second that
perch was definately pulled into making a clumsy challenge, his tackle would have been perfect if his shirt wasn't tugged. It was also offside aswell so should just have been a freekick to the reds.
He should've given a penalty against Baptiste when he handle inside the box. If you watch the replay he moves both arms in front of his body and controls the ball with his right forearm - should've been a penalty.
Also, if they would've scored from the freekick given against Wilson it would've caused a riot!!
I'm as biased as they come but I fail to see where any shirt pull occured, especially as Campbell ran in front of Perch and the clash happened immediately. It was clumsy from Perch, got caught wrong side of him.
And offside? Absolutely nowhere near, he was 2 or 3 yards onside when the pass was made.
Both goals were down to very poor defending. Why Wes left his man for the first one is ridiculous, Cohen went to close the shot down, if Wes had stayed where he was he wouldn't have passed it out wide. We couldn't do much about the fluke deflection straight to their player who scuffed it against his own foot and over Camp when it would have gone straight into his arms otherwise. We're due a bit of luck ourselves.
I dont see if we have championship ref's for the whole season then they give us prem officials to come and hamper our chances!Am I right in thinking he will be officiating the 2nd leg aswell?
100 % right ! and what about the brilliant tackle by wilson which he gave a free kick for , dowd was crap .he knew adam was one away and i don't think he would have booked him for anything he gave them the freekick when he went into mckenna studs showing he bottled giving evatt a second yellow when he realised he would have been sending him off 2
i commented on that to my son as the match kicked off , i thought one of our lot was standing next to the blackpool players as they were about to kick off then realised it was the ref, i said he should be wearing a green shirt or something , ridiculous to be clashing so badly .The biggest decision out the lot was the second yellow card or lack of. That could have easily have been a red on its own. Andersen had almost gone past him and would have had a clear shot on goal. Did anyone notice when he went to book Mckenna but brought his red card out first but quickly stuck it back in his pocket??? What a bellend.
Also the thing that I noticed and i know that earnshaw did it once and cohen did it twice I think I was try and pass the ball to Dowd. Surely he must have realised that wearing practically the same coloured shirts as us would cause problems.
