You can't play against your parent club if your on loan anyway.

Isn't that just in the Premier League? Doesn't it have to be specified in the contract in lower leagues?

In September 2010

"Seyi Olofinjana's first-half strike against his parent club guided Cardiff City to a win over Hull as the Welshmen continued their unbeaten league start."

or have the rules changed since then?

Why are they signing players when they dont even have a manager?

Not that I care, Im glad they have. Hopefully they are paying 100% of his wages, although I doubt it. They are probably contributing £90 a week.

He was a dead cert to leave this week as apparently he cancelled his Cineworld Unlimited Card at the weekend.

Blackpool have signed Nottingham Forest striker Matt Derbyshire on loan until the end of the season.

The former Blackburn and Olympiacos man spent time with the League One outfit Oldham earlier this season, scoring six times in 20 appearances.

Derbyshire is expected to travel with caretaker manager Steve Thompson and the Seasiders squad for this weekend's 12pm showing of Les Misérables.

I must be wrong, I thought it was across the football league to. Seems pretty rubbish to me, don't think a loan player should be allowed to play against you. Gauranteed goal against you.

"After a frustrating start to his Millers career which has seen him spend much of his time on the bench, Derbyshire was clear on goal and New York Starlin held its breath in anticipation of a top-flight finish from a striker with a Premier League pedigree."

Jesus Christ, he is isn't good. And some people thought he should've got a new contract?

I am sorry but Steve Evans is not the man to get the best out of Matt, He needs to feel loved does our Matt not bollocked by a fat mouthy jock.

Being a Manager you need to treat everyone different, Its clear Matts someone who does well when you gee him up just like Harding its more carrot than stick.

Having a go at Matt in the local press is going to have a adverse effect, Sadly the fat jock has no idea how to manage people.

We all know Derbyshire is better with a run in the side, he's obviously not got that, but that's his problem, really - as a striker you have to take those opportunities when they come.
