The sale of Bamford has hit me harder than I thought it would. I think this is because I believed our only way back to any kind of respectability was a very talented group of youngsters. Now the best striker we have developed in years is gone and all because of complete incompetence by all involved at the club. We have a group of strikers, no, strike partners. There are no strikers at this club, and the kid doesn't even get a chance. Good piece of business--hardly. We get 1.5 mil and take on wages of 2 new centre halves. Meanwhile our most creative midfield player can't even get in the side under this useless twat of a manager. It is also time for Frank Clark to face the music. How about some f***ing truth Frank. If you are anything more than a paid mouthpiece for Doughty, prove it!
All the Doughty shills on this board will claim he is no longer involved--bullshit. He is still the owner of this football club and is watching it slide away into nothingness like Nero fiddling while Rome burned. He has set up a team of scapegoats to shield him from the huge steaming pile of blame that should be left on his doorstep. And can someone please tell me why Mark Arthur is still an employee of the club? He and Doughty's tenure at this club has been one of utter futility and they have put the club in such dire financial straits that we can't even sack the manager of a side who sets new weekly standards for inability to find the goal. And they continue to hide their incompetence under the protective blanket of FFP.
Well you know what you collection of fookwits, incompetents and bullshit artists that populate the hierarchy of this club. I am defiantly a supporter of Nottingham Forest Football Club and I will be long after your dark years here are nothing but a memory. As they say, you don't pick your club. The club picked me long ago and I'll be goddamned if I am going to give up supporting it just because you guys couldn't find your dicks with a flashlight. Forest til I die, as always!
Holy shit I need a drink.

You dont sound like a supporter at the minute! Il just add my view. We were a stable club that were pushing for promotion. Now before you all start shouting we should of invested and back Billy, we all know that was the right thing to do. But Doughty didnt. Now Doughty has left the club, waiting to sell and not putting money in due to certain fans abusing him. I always backed Doughty because i know without him we would be in massive trouble which we are in and proberly no NFFC. We are now in a postion where if a decent offer comes in we have to sell even if he is young or old or whatever postion. We have to to stay alive.
We all know Mark Arthur is a nohoper. Cotterill is a genuine bloke who wants to do a good job with a poor bunch. Frank Clark is doing his best. What more do you want??? No money, players arent good enough!
I blame the certain section of fans that shouted Doughty out. Well done fans you got your wish and look what great position we are in now! This is one of the hardest times to be a Forest fan for myself but i still support everyone at the club! Back the club and everyone there!

My rant over!

First of all, don't ever accuse me of not being a fan.If you do that, you haven't read my post. Being a fan doesn't mean blindly following bad decisions made by those in charge. We have the right to criticize. Especially when those decisions have an adverse effect on the club. Oh and if you believe that a ragtag gathering of 150 people in the car park drove Doughty out, you are delusional.

Sorry....... when did i say it was 150 fans in the car park? You know it was a certain section of tha fans that abused doughty for years. Regardless of his financial backing into the club. I get annoyed with fans protesting. Im not saying you have or are. Im saying that by protesting against the club isnt going to change anything. Also fans chanting bring back Billy. I would love for him to come back, i cant see it happening or if he would get us out this trouble that we are in. I dont think our players are good enough. Thats what it comes down to. I will support the club wether we are in conference or Prem. I cant tell you how annoyed i am that we are in the relegation zon. I know that it Doughty remained as chairman the future would look alot brighter for NFFC.

Im not delusional I just have a different view of what the word 'supporter' means to you!

Oh and what would you like Frank Clark to come out and say? Last i knew he told us all that we have no money we had to sell and it was going to be a struggle. As far as im aware nothing has changed!

Agree with both too an extent, doughty wasn't pushed out by fans in the car park but from the moment he came on twitter for example the majority of messages he received were abusive and aggressive, I can only imagine his email was similar and any mail he had sent too the ground, I'm sure in his position I'd think too myself why on earth am I bothering putting this much money into a club where I'm hated? On the flip side if he does wish to sell each week his product is being devalued by abject performances and at times baffling decisions. We support the club through the good times and the bad times that's the joy and pain of football. Last thing this club needs right now is even more bad feeling as the atmosphere around the club must be rock bottom right now. It will probably get worse before it gets better but it will get better, that's the light at the end of the tunnel

I am sure Doughty doesnt want to ruin Forest. But like its been said before you cant force anyone to buy the club. And would you sell the club you support to a bunch of no hopers? Doughty would be blamed for that aswel! Lets all hope that Forest can have a bright future with a new owner and soon!
