He took a wrong turn and just kept going.

Marcelo Bielsa might be available?Anyone near the training ground with a set of binoculars or a drone?
I don't think relying on Hennessey for a bit is going to be that much of a problem.
We're not conceding many shots on target any more so provided that carries on then whoever is between the sticks needs to be able to claim crosses well and throw it out with some accuracy to start our counters.
And as long as he doesn’t turn up to Matches dressed as a Sturmbannführer again, he should be fine.I can just about cope with Hennessey for a few games and some are games he'd have played anyway but any more than 2 league games and I'd be pretty concerned.
Folk have written him off, just like they did with McKenna, Toffolo, Williams, Surridge and O'Brien...Hennessey is fine as back up. He's been about long enough at top and international level to know where his gloves are.
He isn't a bad keeper, I'm not sure what people are so tetchy about. Obviously we wouldn't want him in the team long term but I think there's a tendency to over-rate Henderson based on a few pen saves and playing blinders when we were defending so badly, and under-rate Hennessey based on a goal where the whole defence switched off against Man U, the 2nd he got a hand to, and a red card for Wales.Aside from his mistake for United's second goal, didn't Hennessey keep the score down second half, he made a few good saves didn't he?
Obviously a big mistake and a downgrade on Henderson but I think he might be able to tide us over if Hendo's injury is only a week or 2,
As others have aluded to above, i'm not sure where we could actually get a similar level quality goalkeeper at this stage in the season
Exactly regarding Smith. And don't get me wrong, I wouldn't be saying Hennessey in the team for more than a few matches would really be the answer. But he is more than capable of deputising in a short term injury or suspension situation. For once, I agree with Statto .
But I also agree with the train of thought that worries about being one injury or suspension away from Jordan Smith playing.
Because we aren't able to sign two Premier League number 1's as a newly promoted side.If Hennessey isn't good enough to fill in for Henderson for a few games then why is he here?
Give the guy a chance
No we couldn't.Darlow is available - on loan?
Wouldn‘t want him long term - but, if Deano’s injury is to keep him out for say a couple of months, we could do worse.
I get neither the fuss nor the attraction to Darlow. OK so he came through the academy but was absolute toss for us in a mid table 2nd tier side, was regularly beaten from range, had the presence of a wet piece of TP, didn't command his area or come for crosses. We were lucky to get rid of him (they probably really wanted Lascelles anyway) to someone willing to pay a lot for him and he's done very little for them other than let in loads of goals. A good short range shot stopper is all he isNo we couldn't.
If we want Premier League football next season we would need to sign a Premier League quality goalkeeper. Not Karl f***ing Darlow.
That’s the game that Stone missed a sitterSome game from the highlights!
I thought the rule was you couldn't loan 2 keepers from the same sideBecause we aren't able to sign two Premier League number 1's as a newly promoted side.
I have few problems with Hennessey filling in, but we will be in trouble if we are playing half the season with him in the net.
We could worse by putting a bloke with no arms in goal but it would be closeDarlow is available - on loan?
