15 plus 5 is an absolute steal.

Although given what we paid for Wood the add ons are probably triggered after he starts three games for us...

I might be on my own with this but if Forest were in same position as Man Utd-I’d want to ensure my new keeper gets brought and sorted before off loading players. That’s just common sense. Massively frustrating for us but utd are being sensible and to ensure that aren’t left without keeper.
Absolutely.

United do mess around. But this isn't an instance of it. They couldn't risk being left with no senior keeper.

We even seem to be holding onto Adnan Kanuric for some reason. Perhaps he fancied a holiday.
We need someone to take Jordan Smith's role of letting the strikers score goals in training and think they're amazing. Before getting put in their places by keepers who save things.

We don't know anything about this deal. Perhaps Man U told us that Hendo could leave when they had an incoming sorted, not to panic.

That is very harsh criticism of the Academy Graduate he kept us from being relegated back to the Third Division with a couple of world class saves.
I’ll guarantee 99.9% of Forest supporters know this. I love the internet lol. I get the feeling some live in a very idealistic world where every goalkeeper needs to be world class playing for Forest

tbf he always did his best for us and was a good character around the squad for years. Just that he wasn't really a very good keeper.

I think most keepers we had would have made those saves vs Ipswich but then he was the one we had at the time.

I also think that given how good he was that even the likes of Dennis, Hwang, Bowler and the rest of our misfiring attackers would have had no issues scoring past him in training.

At one point on loan to Mansfield he lost his place to the keeper they already had who wasn't very good. Ended last season 3rd choice at Hudds who just about stayed in the CH.

He simply isn't very good.

Or are we not allowed to say that about players who came through the Academy?

We had a fair portion of people saying Keylor Navas was rubbish, even after his performances which on the whole were excellent for us.

All that does is make you realise supporters will never be happy until you get the utterly perfect goalkeeper. The demands at which we judge goalkeepers on is completely unrealistic.

Smith was rubbish though in the main.

Of our first choice keepers recently (Since Crossley/Beasant) they probably come in this order

Navas
D Henderson
Samba
de Vries
Camp
Pants
Darlow
Ward

then the crap ones in no particular order
S Henderson, Muric, Steele, J Smith, P Smith (at CH level), Pedersen, Gerrard, Stojkovic, Hoult, Roche...

You can whack Pantillimon in the crap ones list sharpish.

I don't actually think he was that bad - probably in about the right place really. Darlow never really convinced me especially when he came back on loan. Pants wasn't that bad for us under Karanka and O'Neill who liked to defend well. For a big guy he could have been better on crosses but he never really let us down.

Not sure any below him are better so they should all go in the crap list at the same point presumably?

Henderson needs to sign before this thread turns into Smith vs Camp Mk 2.

I'm not entering into that debate, but there was only 1 of those keepers who could inspire a group of us from LTLF so much that we tried to steal the chair he'd been sat on in the same pub as us.
