Could there be some faint possibility that we aren't wanting to spend 20-25m on a player who could go and suffer another setback on his road to recovery? Maybe we are also playing the waiting game on this one.

Probably to keep the Onana price down as much as possible. They’ve lost De Gea, Heaton is on his way out and so is Henderson.

Probably adds £5-10m if they have no senior goalkeeper on the books.

I've also said this earlier in the thread but was assured that he would be perfectly fit for the first game of the season by the forum know it alls

Quite ironic, given all the injuries last season, that people are clamoring for this signing IMO.
