I didnt even know Shelvey had been booed to be honest, which game was that?

Last one I recall before that was Marlon King but there is probably others. That was more due to attitude that being shit as I recall but the fact he was a bit shit for us too probably didnt help!

Spurs have rejected a €9m bid from Rennes for him and want €15-20m.

Personally I'd much rather we were in for Tanganga.

Dier wants to stay and see his contract out, which expires in the summer.
Quelle surprise!
As a free agent he would pocket the whole of the "golden hello" his agent could negotiate, while also enjoying the bloated wage he gets from spurs for the remainder of this season.
Every player has become a financial entrepeneur these days.

It's my glimmer of hope regarding CHO - he could easily sit tight but he's apparently being proactive in not doing so.

He IS sitting tight, the likes of aubameyang (?), Bakayoko, Rahman etc all had their contracts cancelled after they agreed to halve their pay for Chelsea to pay off the remainder of their contracts. CHO was one of those outsiders and he's still at Chelsea.

And who would blame them..
Where money is thrown around like confetti at a Big Fat Gypsy wedding, you can't blame anyone for grabbing that cash with both hands to make a stash.
However, the amount of money involved and the lack of any sort of clarity on how fraud is prevented, and prudent fiscal control exercised, plus the use of off-shore registered companies with little information in the way of beneficial interest in those companies, then corruption is almost bound to be endemic & widespread.
There is much speculation about whether Forest are within or beyond FFP rules, and virtually nothing available on which even well-qualified analysts can form an opinion.
Moving further afield, Everton, Man city, and maybe others, stand accused of breaching financial regulations.
Will they ever have to bear an approriate and commensurate number of sanctions?
Will they heck as like.
You are right, no one can really blame the players for making the most of the situation, but one day, the whole edifice will come crashing down.

I don't mind us taking Sanchez as part of a deal for BJ, but there has to be value in it for us. If all we do is pay the price that anyone would have paid then I'd rather take the money. They are clearly happy to let him go, so we're not benefitting from them releasing a player they want to keep. Discounted price or nothing.

Perhaps revisit that at the end of the window.

Sanchez in Spurs starting 11 for the Fulham game. Might be playing his way into Postecoglou's plans.

Some of the comments from Spurs fans tonight about him are absolutely scathing. They really, really don't like him.

Not that it means that he's a bad player or would be bad for us, but still.

One of my colleagues from our Istanbul office is a Gala fan.

He just texted me a message:

“Sanchez? Shit.“
