Thought we needed a Davies in thread to show the other side of the Davies Out (and Trout) farse.

+ Last thing we need is another manager/backroom change.
+ Would cost us millions to get rid of everybody.
+ There is no question that if Davies had Lichaj, Hobbs, Wilson, Cohen, Lansbury, Vaughan and Reid we would be better.
+ When Davies gets on a roll we really do go for months getting decent results.
+ Still in top 5 (even though I think we will stutter to an 8th-10th finish)
+ If we get behind him and the team it will do more for us that threads like Billy Out.

Edit 11/03/2014
+ We won't have to take play off heartache again.
+ Nigel Pearson bounced back after woefully underachieving to go up the next season.
+ Miller, Derbyshire and Greening off the playing wage bill this summer so Billy can buy another striker (He gets about 1/20 right).

I rarely start threads but I think that it is important that we get behind out manager (However horrible he comes across) as it will benefit NFFC. If people at NFFC come on the forums at all then all they will see at the moment is negative BD out threads.

I want Billy here and I am fully of the opinion that the injuries have cost us dearly. It will be tough to take if we miss playoffs but he needs one more season after this, buy a striker, get the injured players back and profit!

The natural conclusion for this is a Davies Shake-it-all-about thread :)

Good to balance things out I guess.

All opinions should be heard and respected on this forum, even if people disagree with them.

Wish you luck.

Billy could just about have got away with this had he stopped doing/saying stupid/embarrassing things. Most of the negativity on here towards him is absolutely down to his character. He is a really poor ambassador of our club and risks bringing us into disrepute every time he does or says anything.

But add to that the unbelievably and unforgivably poor showing against sides we should beat and it is obvious why people want him gone. Not now - end of season. We're fed up with his antics.

We put out a stronger side on Saturday than Barnsley yet still lost. Why?

I'm just sick of sacking managers which have us in with a promotion shout, playing fairly good stuff on the whole, and who bring very good players into the club.

I like Billy, but I like him because he does well with us and his teams are usually enjoyable to watch.

And why I should have the money I spend devalued by the likes of Cotterill or Mcleish just because some journo isn't capable enough to form a relationship with our manager is crazy. I also like hellraisers and I'm all up for Billy, or whoever our manager is, knocking the f*** out of whoever gets in ours and their way. Boom!! :yarr!:

The natural conclusion for this is a Davies Shake-it-all-about thread :)

Billy is his own worst enemy at times, hence the Billy Out Brigade piping up yet again, they seem to really love failure so they can call for a sacking to get in ANOTHER manager to take aim at. You should have seen the Leicester Forums this time last year..

Sacking managers every year hasn't exactly worked out very well in the past for Nottingham Forest has it? When was the last time Forest sacked a manager then we went on to gain promotion to the Premier league?!

Been a long while ain't it?

I'm not his greatest fan, largely because I think he's a limited tactician and his whole persona is an embarrassment to what has traditionally been a dignified club, but you have to recognise that injuries really have disrupted the last few weeks and I don't see anyone currently out there who could do significantly better with a decimated squad. Flipping managers sometimes works, but I'm not convinced it would in this case, so I say hold fire Fawaz and see how we end the season.

Davies is not the best thing since sliced bread but I am not in the "Davies Out" camp so Davies not out is where this vote goes.

At last, some commonsense on this website.

I cannot believe our fickle our fans are (actually I can).

No club at any level could lose their 7 best players and continue as if nothing had happened.

I agree with the summary as well.

I want to see Davies succeed. Just wish he would belt up and stop being a nob jockey.

Most of the people that want him out are the ones that don't care about results on the pitch and just don't like him. Results wise, Davies is our man, and that's what I care about. A lot of them being armchair fans that just follow what their favorite person on Twitter says. If he is losing week in week out with a fully fit team then questions should be asked, but not with the core of our team injured.

Twitter is a disease and it poisons people, and it's poising a lot of Forest fans. Back the manager to the full, you wanted him back, so tough shit you fickle f***ers. Take Xavi, Iniesta, Messi, Pique, Puyol, Valdez, Dani Alves, Sanchez & Neymar out of Barcelona's team. You think they will beat Man City on Tuesday? Nope.

Men of broader intellect know that there is no sharp distinction betwixt Davies in and Davies out; that all things appear as they do only by virtue of the delicate individual physical and mental media through which we are made conscious of them; but the prosaic materialism of the majority condemns as madness the flashes of super-sight which penetrate the common veil of obvious empiricism.
