When he's presenting it prevents him from getting sent off at crucial moments in play off semi-finals.

Youth career with us, first pro contract with us & whilst his 5 years with us didn't yield much he got a decent move out of it.

As polished as he is in front of a camera, its his insistence on saying f*** all good about us that has me agreeing he's a massive twat. Fickle, but loyalty goes along way in our house..

I think it’s something that is written into Sky Sports contracts. Garry Birtles is the same.

Makes me wonder about their time in the dressing room, must have been nightmares. I mean, were they always boring, clever dicks constantly talking?

Is your guys opinion of him still negative?

Wasn't the best player ever for us but I caught Garibaldi Red and Chippers podcast with him on, and also whenever we've played on Sky,

He's extremely complimentary about us, his predictions have us on 112 points, and almost biased towards us when presenting, definitely made me like him a lot more (Disclaimer, I am not David Prutton  )

According to some of our fans he hates us and always wants us to lose...

Prutton is a presenter. He isn't a pundit. So he has to kind of stay neutral.
However, I do notice the odd positive note about Forest at times when he is presenting.

Prutts is fine. Nice line in self deprecation, it's obvious he wants us to do well. I can't see any reason to dislike the bloke.

I thought a Prutton/Scimeca/Reid/Jenas midfield would easily have been of Premier League standard-alas,they
all proved of that calibre away from Forest.

Liked him as a player (still remember where I was when I heard we'd sold him) and like him as a presenter

and a little FYI but my GF isn't a football fan and once mentioned how he's one of the few she can stand talking while she's in the room, and said "he seems to like Forest doesn't he?" obviously without a clue he played for us

Second FYI - I once sold him a mobile phone from a cold call and he was a lovely bloke

I've always liked him, in fairness he wasn't the most skilful player but always worked hard and did his best, managed a few years in the PL too, wasn't the only one to blame for that Yeovil match and when he left for Southampton we were probably still at the stage where we needed to sell on a decent offer and Hart probably wanted to get Huckerby.

One of the few footballers with a bit of intelligence too. I seem to recall Prutts went to a decent school in Hull, got good GCSEs and probably could have gone on to university if he hadn't been a footballer.

He went to hymers private school in Hull. Costs about £12k a year to go. Not sure if he went on some sort of scholarship or has a loaded parent!

Prutton was my first favourite Forest player which is mad but I loved him in 2001. I didn’t find him annoying as a pundit either but I don’t find goodman annoying either. Very few pundits annoy me really.

People didn’t like Goodman or prutton last year cause they weren’t complimentary about us but what do people expect we were gash last season. Most seasons we’ve been gash so well get gash comments.

I think goodman has championed us this season in fairness. He came on talkSPORT and defended cooper to the hilt against Simon Jordan.

Anyway I guess it’s just preference really I know mates can’t stand jenas on tele but again got a huge soft spot for him.

Yes he did, I went to s similar-costing school; neither my parents were loaded, nor was I lucky enough to get a scholarship. Not every kid in a fee-paying school is loaded, far from it.

I seem to recall our school played his at rugby, not that i cared about this because Rugby was shit and I avoided playing it as much as possible lol

He’s easily the least annoying presenter at sky, for me.

It helps though. Especially if you have a couple of kids.

I know a bloke at work who sent his kid to another private school on the outskirts of hull. I always assumed he or his wife must have inherited money at some point to afford that.

I’m fairly sure that Prutton’s family were from the fairly affluent area just west of Hull.

Me too. Hymers used to batter us every year and we had a really good side.
