Was in a decent defence mostly at Man Utd and looked OK at best whilst making more than the odd error, decent shot stopper but behind with the demands of being a modern keeper with the ball at his feet and doesn't come for crosses a lot. So potentially not really an improvement on either.
Would no doubt cost a lot on salary too

It's a question of whether he really wants to. I mean, it's not like he needs the money. The risk is he might come, take the money but not be any good because there's no motivation for him on a short-term deal.

I’d tend to agree, but there’d be no harm trying given that we managed to get Navas last year and DDG hasn’t got much else on right now.

Same here. He's not Navas or Henderson, but he's solid enough at this level. Miles better than the Turnip or Count Vlachula.
