I also can't see him fitting into our recruitment policy BUT I remember when he was at Ipswich he always caused us big problems.
If Warburton feels that he is he 'man' then I rely on his judgement.
I have watched BB recently playing for England as a centre forward and I have been very impressed and if Britt goes then play Ben up front.

Interesting. Warburton has gone for experienced pros in the past, see Barton/Clint Hill at Rangers. This one very much in that mould. Can't imagine he'd play much if he came but certainly could be useful being in the right place at the right time on a Tuesday night game in the winter to collect a draw/win.
