Stuart Pearce
Plays up top for the best side in England and leads the line for the country.
How and why?!
How and why?!
A very good and intelligent player.
Though he's not got the finishing to be an out and out striker, centre of gravity to be a number 10, pace to be a winger or tackling ability to be a centre mid.
So I've no idea where he fits in.
The only reason he plays for England is because he plays for Manchester United.
It's more to do with the fact that no other young English players get played in the Premiership.
Man United, to their credit have normally played Youth Academy players rather than fill the team with cheap imports.
I went to see Chelsea Under 21's v Tottenham Under 21's on Friday, less than half the players on show were British.
Where as that maybe true, I can't help but think that if Welbeck played for Fulham or Reading he wouldn't be anywhere near the England team.
I get what your saying
But if he played for Fulham or reading wouldn't that make him even wanker than he currently is?
We need to be focussing on the inexplicable reasons Danny Welbeck gets selected for Man Utd - as he only turns out for England due to the fact he plays for Man Utd.
If things continue, then this thread might be amusing by the end of the season.
Not really he is still rubbish. If things continue, then this thread might be amusing by the end of the season.
