Tim Vickery was talking about him on the radio last night. Said he thinks Forest have pulled off a coup. Though Danilo's form had dipped after being with the National squad, perhaps the sharp increase in ability required to operate in that setup rather surprised him. So perhaps it might also take him some time to get up to speed in the intensity of the Prem.
Apparently Palmeiras have had their fingers burnt with young players before, so wanted to move Danilo on before he got too old! The previous incident involved a couple of young 19 year olds who were wanted by other clubs, but Palmeiros hung onto them, thinking their value would go up even more, but sadly they didn't kick on and lost form and the club lost money.
Anyway, a seal of approval, so looks good.
