I have it in 3/4 of my signatures.

I only don't have it in the one where I email mates, I do have 'Music Extraordinaire' on that one though.

Thank goodness I may not be around for too much longer.
Things were much simpler when I was a lad.
We still had Nancy boys, and butch women, and coppers would give young 'uns a clip round the lugholes and not dish out ASBOs.
But we didn't have to tread carefully in a minefield of political correctness and a field of bliss where any one who felt the urge to tell everyone they were offended or discriminated against, without a shred of evidence, label everyone else as being bad.
And quite possibly there will be jumping for joy at the thought that prejudiced old bigots like me will soon be under the sod.
To add to those "simpler times" Captain, I still clearly recall my secondary school days in the early-60s, when corporal punishment was normal, and seeing psycho teachers dishing-out brutal beatings to kids without any fear of sanction. I don't think it was coincidence that most of the teachers at Trent Bridge Secondary Modern who commanded the most respect without ever resorting to physical punishment had mostly served in the military during World War 2.

I also remember "w*g", "c**n" and "P*ki" being more-or-less accepted terms of reference, and kids who didn't conform to socially-accepted norms having awful experiences. Also polio victims and those with other disabilities who were casually and cruelly labelled a "spaz". When I became an adult and a father I felt quite ashamed that I'd not stood up more than I did at the time for those who faced that treatment on a daily-basis, and for the black and asian kids who were subjected to almost-routine racism - although I did make up for that a little later however (and probably a bit too aggressively at times) after I got together my now-wife (of Jamaican heritage) in 1966.

As an old bloke now in my mid-70s, the pace of social change is a struggle for me to keep-up with, but I'm grateful that my grand-and-great-grandkids live in a time when difference is far more accepted - despite the culture wars being stoked-up by the current government and its enablers in the right-wing media.

and rickets... don't forget rickets.
I do agree with your post that a lot of the bad stuff has been castigated.
But it was bad stuff then, and we knew it was bad, and those of his with a social conscience would have self-censored and not flung bad terms around with any intent to hrt anyone else.
Frankly, I think nowadays there is someone somewhere who will object to most anything.
All the gesture poiliticking now is just that.
For all the controversy, there will still be people who delight in spiteful nastiness.
There always has been and there always will be.
And there will be the majority who refrain without having to be scapegoated.

It happens at our place as well. About 3 or 4 years ago when it first happened I nearly emailed a girl back as I thought she’d filled in a signature template and left some of the waffle in!! That’s how outdated I am🤣

Corporal punishment went on into the late 70's and early 80's and I think that my school had the same pyscho teachers. Complete opposite in that it was the elderly ex-military teachers who resorted to violence first, often without justification. I often thought what was the point of delivering corporal punishment to some of the kids when they come from a deprived background and had already been knocked from pillar to post by their old man throughout their childhood. It served no purpose other than to alienate them against society and send out a message that physical violence was acceptable.

Its mental, the world has gone bat shit crazy. I'm not stuck in my ways by any stretch but its getting silly.

Who makes this shit up, and who actually cares? Nobody! Nobody alive is offended by someone not using a pronoun and if they are they should grow the f*** up. I dont conform to such bullshit and I never will, its driven by left wing lunatics hell bent on fixing problems that simply dont exist.

If you're gay, trans, straight, black, white, good luck and best of life to you, I have no issues with anyone.....I just dont need to hear about it every 5 minutes. I dont feel the need to have LGBGT plastered on a coffee cup to show how right on and worthy I am, nobody does! If you want to identify as a potato good luck. I identify as a stallion with a massive chopper and six pack but Ive not used it in emails sigs yet to be honest.

If you email me as a woman just let me wonder how big your tits are in real life without telling me youre actually a man underneath, sort of ruins it for me.

The pronouns thing, when used by everyone, is a bit daft.
If someone prefers to be referred to as something different than the norm - then fine, put whatever pronouns that suit.
Otherwise, why put them?

I’ll caveat that with someone who has an androgynous name. They may want to clarify whether they are a he/she/they.

I honestly think back in our day they'd be known as 'saddo weirdo losers' so I'm not sure if it's a good or bad thing.
Trouble is "weird" is now cool. The worst thing you can call a kid nowadays is boring, which, funnily enough, a lot of them are.

We have 400.000-plus employees around the world.

Many of whom are in cultures that differ from the basic stuff in terms of naming conventions (last name first, or adopting a „westernised“ first name - hello China) to countries where many have the same parental name (for example, Nguyen, in Vietnam) and - for me, anyway - our „corporate“ ability to state pronouns has helped me more that once to be able to correctly address a colleague - and the likewise opposite is true (or at least I am told, especially by colleagues on in the Asia-Pacific region).

"Ay'up duck*" in person and "Hi" or "Hi X" on emails and jobs a good'un.

* I do get strange looks from a fair few people though.
