First I've heard of this, but Barnsley are denying that we've shown any interest before we even showed any.

Barnsley have denied rumours linking Dale Jennings with a move to Championship side Nottingham Forest.

The reds say that they have received no offer from Forest and had no contact with them regarding Dale Jennings.

We could be looking at worse wingers - still 21, was showing some serious promise at Tranmere.

Jennings wouldn't get a game here. We need better quality additions than him to challenge for a starting place. It's only in central midfield where we need to pick up someone who is happy to sit on the bench most of the season waiting to dislodge the Vaughan and Lansbury partnership.

That's if they are not in the treatment room most of the season.

Know he scored v us but otherwise thought he was inconsistent rest of season. Still could get better and more consistent though

Jennings had a real run of bad luck at Bayern, but did well when the opportunity was there. He chose to come back to the UK and he chose to go to a team where he'd play all the time and prove himself. He's done that at Barnsley, for me he's never looked like there's anything holding him back but the relative talent of his team-mates. I'd love to see him here. With the right players alongside him, he'd be lethal.
