Commentary on Forest Player for match footage

Who the hell is the bloke who commentates on Forest matches for the player videos of the matches?

The dude voicing the Leeds vs Forest match is devoid of excitement and sounds like he has watched it already. Not only that, his pronunciation is just bizarre - who is Teshka?

Why don't they use the Colin Frey commentary that they play live on matchdays?

I think he just does the voice over once match is finished! I really miss Fray, too. Least we can hear him on the radio anyway.

The bloke today is from the Alan Partridge school of voice over, my favourite is his pronunciation of Teskha

Its a deal with channel 5 hence the monotone commentary and not Radio Nottingham.

As you cannot get the radio Nottingham commentary on the internet radio channels I considered subscribing to Forest Player to be able to get it when abroad or outside of radio coverage in the UK. However, that was because I thought that it was the radio Nottingham commentary. I may give it a miss. The commentator can make a huge difference when all you have is the audio.

Being stuck down here in deepest Dorset, we rely on FP for match day commentary.
Having listened to quite a few of the opposition commentaries as well, I would say Colin Fray is one of the best commentators.
It is particularly good when David Johnson is the "expert" summariser.

I love David Johnson as the pundit. Completely biased, goes absolutely ballistic when we score. Reminds me of the old Sky Sports Fanzone thing!
