Really can't see us spending 35 mill on another player.... Doesn't Dennis largely play in this position already?

Can't see us splashing out a fortune on this guy either. MGW is the last of the big money signings this summer IMO.

From one of my Dutch colleagues - PSV have slapped a €50m price-tag on Gakpo following interest from Man U, and Ajax are holding-out for €100m for Antony, although the player is (allegedly) very keen on the move, to link up again with Erik ten Hag.

With United also in the market for a goalie (Kevin Trapp from Eintracht Frankfurt, if you believe Kicker) it does look like they are trying to spend their way out of trouble.

Utd spend more on interest payments than we have spent on players and nobody bats an eyelid

Of course - that's like saying wow I spend £100,000 on a car and everyone's up in arms because I earn 50k a year but my mate who's a millionaire buys the same car and no-one cares.... Like it or not they're a mega club with an income that dwarfs ours and saleable assets that are far more saleable than ours plus a long history in the richest league in the world with very rich owners (even if they have mismanaged them)..... they can afford it. The bigger question is not the amount so much as the fact they need to after such dire management for the past what 5 years? Not that I care too much, just as long as they stay shit enough for us to destroy them.

United will probably go back in for him near the deadline and panic buy him for an inflated fee.

Actually SSN were thrilled when MUFC decided to focus on Antony. I've never heard such claptrap and endless repetition of one or two points for, seemingly, hours as they manage.

Their transfer talk is not interested unless you're a big 6 team or you spend £100 million.
