Cloughy Minutes Applause Tomorrow?

DizzyBala

Just wondering if we could maybe get something sorted for tomorrow, it'll of been 12 years to the day since Brian Clough passed and I think it would be a great opportunity to show our appreciation with a minutes applause in the 18th minute, 18th for the 18 seasons that he managed us for.
Reckon we could get the word out?

Great idea.

I'm sat with the illuminati, up near Fawaz tomorrow night.

What with his portrait of himself, Clough and Taylor, I shall watch closely ae to whether he joins in.

Realistically, if he is such a big fan he should be leading the rendition of "Brian Clough, Brian Clough, Brian Clough" at the top of his voice.

Sadly, I don't do social media, so am unable to help you any further.

These minutes applauses are getting tedious. I think having one for Clough is a great idea with it being the anniversary but I feel they've lost any meaning with how ubiquitous they've become.

It's all about mid-table...
They ought to have a big photo banner of the great man and walk round the pitch just before kick-off.

The applause would be deafening with the gunners fans joining in.

Just sing Brian Clough songs instead.

Coordinated minutes applauses are getting very boring now, I wish TV companies didn't cut to them everytime too - I'd love a goal to go in during one.

TV Bossman: 'So we missed the only goal of the game?'

Director: 'Well, yes but we did get a lovely panoramic of one stand applauding the loss of Tiddles, the club cat.'

TV Bossman: 'We did? Super!'

Whatever happens it'll need mentioning somewhere, if we try and do one at 12 and then one at 18 we're gonna look a bit daft (For once...)

These minute applauses are so frequent now that they've lost any real meaning. Most of the time fans are clapping whilst looking confused who it is they're clapping for. I agree it would be better to have a few chants for BC.

Yeah I'm all for the cause of appreciating someone, but the minutes applause IS getting tedious. Tributing Forest fans that have tragically lost their lives, but now people are doing it for injured players, people streaming games (I saw somewhere)..what next? A Forest fan takes a 25minute shit so 1 minutes applause on the 25th minute of the game?

We should honour Clough with singing, chants and plenty of noise!

I shall streak from the directors box, through the Main Stand and into the Arsenal fans as a fitting tribute to the great man himself in the 83rd minute.

The timing has no significance, but we will be so far ahead by then no-one, but the Arse will care.

Is that the producer who went to Sky on a free transfer?

Should be a minute of the crowd standing and making a circle with their thumb and index finger that the players got when they did something well.
