There's more to PPP's stance than meets the eye. There has to be some connection between PPP and CE to argue so vehemently in his favour. I'm not taking sides, as I said I don't know the full facts pretty much like everyone else in that regard. Just worry a bit about you PPP, there's no need to kick out like you have, it helps no one.

nice to see you aren't sitting on the fence here, i guess defending someone consistently might seem like kicking out , my responses contain some degree of logic and thought to challenge obvious derogatory comments, i should try to be kinder responding to these attitudes , but also the logic challenging a person calling someone a cnut? how should it feel? i took quite alot of ridicule and crushing comments for originally suggesting CE wasn't a ****** prior to the appeal, even when choosing my words really carefully i would be belittled, made fun of, sniped at, well that's how it seems, even now i am given the impression i am defending a ******, or someone who subscribes to spit roast dot com, or an unreformable character, as long as people feel the need to insult and disrespect the guy i'll be here to debate, this could go either way, maybe i'll be proved wrong, but as it is we are talking about a very successful sportsman, family man, business man, father and team player who is becoming these things due in a great part to mistakes he made 5 years ago

I just think your stance in defending him makes people suspicious. Why are you so insistent in defending him?

Please feel welcome to explain your reasoning and concerns. You can be disrespectful, unpleasent, derogatory here, more specifically towards me on here, this seems to be a unique part of the forum where this happens, but maybe one day if you could actually furnish a more rounded opinion it would be appreciated but only if you feel the need to post here.

Just trying to save you from further torment in this thread, its pretty ironic you rise to the bait on the afore mentioned comment and no other. You have non the less challenged that comment and I will respond by saying you seem to take my comments personally to the enth degree and that is concerning, as has been stated by others you seem to have an axe to grind with those who believe Evans is a nasty piece of work and yes I believe he is rgardless of his guilt, that as always been my position, so dont take things so personal as I have not attacked you in that way if I had have done you would been left in no doubt of it. Just one more thing a number of posters on here have tried to help and be very accomodating of your point of view and they have backed away with good grace, thats where I now find myself having read through your replies to those individuals, clearly nothing will detract you from your view or promotion of Evans on a forum such as this.

I was wondering if ever, however long it takes, someone who hated CH to an extreme degree has managed to soften there righteous stance and actually admit there opinion was incorrect and unjustified, even slightly, the fact is he was innocent, he's done no wrong in 5 years and even though he didn't need to reform he is probably very reformed and learned alot, then maybe we can discuss the significance of rehabilitation for offenders and maybe also help for false accusers

the guilty party in all of this is the police/cps/legal system for messing up 2 peoples lives and their families
