Good luck appealing that, Cardiff.

Clearly pissed off with that decision then! However they seem to have no idea why its wrong, they sound like a whining school kid.

At least this time it's a Football League ruling so they can't go round it by bleating to the Welsh FA and have it overturned.
The appeals not been heard yet.....

Good point.

I can see it now-

Football League: 'Well, come on then, what reasons do you have for this appeal?'

Cardiff: 'Well, we're Welsh so we're not under your jurisdiction so you can't do this.'

FL: 'Sorry, nice try but this time it's your League Authority not your football authority doing this so you can't use that one this time. Appeal denied.'

Cardiff: 'Oh. Bugger. That's always worked before.'

FL: 'Well, it hasn't this time. Goodbye.'

Cardiff: 'Wait! We have another!'

FL: 'Go on then, but it had better be good.'

Cardiff: 'We're not Nottingham Forest you know.'

FL: 'Good point. Appeal upheld.'

It shows you how shambolic it is being applied that it appears people interpret the rules differently.

Dearie me.

Seems they have a convenient way around their umbongo; one of the other clubs owned by Vincent Tan (in Belgium I think) is about to sign a player and immediately loan him to Cardiff, thereby ensuring Cardiff don't have to worry about wages etc.

Isn't uncle fazza still in cahoots with his other club?

Or can he buy County for a quid and do it that way?

Why is that no surprise?

They are now working on a way to get the PFA to pay the wages.

H'mm, while I approve of the spirit of this post, as an exiled Mansfield boy, I have to ask: when was Mansfield ever part of Nottingham?

The bigger Cardiff news today is that they have finally come to arrangement over debts owed to Sam Hammam, who has spent the last decade hiding behind the mysterious Langston Corporation while enjoying a life presidency at the club. The debts Hammam ran up during his ownership were precisely the reason Cardiff fans had to hold their tongues when Vincent Tan changed the club strip, something Hammam himself had proposed a decade earlier - the difference in 2013 was that they couldn't afford to say no to Tan because Hammam was hamstringing the club from the shadows. Personally, I'm pleased to see them relieved of that millstone at least.

Due to Earnie and Jonny Owen, I find hard to dislike Cardiff City as much as I used to do.

He lives south of the river don't you know.

If those guys go further north than Upper Parliament Street they get a nose bleed.
