I think I'd tell them to bollocks and then go on a massively offensive, offensive

That is a massive public relations blunder by Charlton.

Has the Duty Safety Officer been taking notes from Notts CC or Alan Bexon I wonder? Mind you, anyone who posts inflammatory stuff on social media then leaves enough detail to be traced is obviously a bit lacking in the old brain box department.

"...or carrying out any other form of behaviour that could be deemed to be of an anti-social nature."

That's a bit wide isn't it?

So he's not aloud to play loud music or hang around in a gang outside Lidl?

That is a massive public relations blunder by Charlton.

And by posting it online the fan has probably already breached the intended behaviour contract

"Dear Charlton Athletic,

With respect you can shove your ABC up Roland's arse.
I expect a full refund within the week.

Enjoy League 1

Regards,
Former Fan"

if I was a Charlton supporter I personnally could not wait to attend that meeting and rip the individual to bits personally and then tell them what they can do with their ST.

I'm sorry, but neither Charlton Athletic nor any other football club has the right, legal or otherwise, to demand a standard of behaviour from supporters that only they stipulate.

There's only one group of people who can do that, and that's the Police.

Whilst we don't have specific constitutional laws in this country to allow direct freedom of speech, anyone who hands-over the thick end of £400 every year to a football club has, in my book anyway, the absolute right to say whatever they like about the club in question, as long as those comments aren't libellous or slanderous - and that would be for a court of law to decide.

Not a Football club.

If Forest tried this sort of shit, I'd seriously give up on football.

From that Charlton Forum
What next? Are we going to have stewards walking around the ground, in the queues outside, in the local pubs and clubs with phones spying on supporters and recording people's conversations?

I seem to remember some of you in LB last season mentioning something along these lines

I can't even begin to imagine the f***ing language at that meeting if it was me.
I genuinely wouldn't set foot in the place until the owner had gone, after that jumped up **** who wrote the letter had had both barrels of course.

So Charlton want to be the Thought Police do they?

That letter, if Forest sent one to me, would be brought to the meeting, rolled up tightly and used to push the season ticket, which had been inserted sideways, further up the guy's arse.

Then, as with &y, the offensive offensive would begin.

What a set of c**ts. I hope they are relegated.

I wouldn't be a Charlton fan. They were pretty much my local team when I lived in London and had no interest in them whatsoever. Same went for Millwall (but who could like them). Palace I have a tiny soft spot for, but thats more to do with my liking their early 70s claret and blue striped shirt.

I think the same. Lived in London for three years in the mid 60s and went round to all the London grounds just to watch football and Forest whenever possible, but found none of them worthy of serious attention.

I always think of that white shirt/blue and red stripe Palace had in the early 80's.

Feel really sorry for the Charlton fans. Supporting them isn't hardly a popular option given the choices in London, and then they've had to suffer all this.
