Me too, maybe not the best but what spirit, f*** know why we got rid of him so quickly.

Nigel Doughty had offered Jules an extra year at Forest if he couldn't find a club, but I think that at the time he was well worth keeping around as back up.

He was very active in his community work too, an example to alot of the big time charlies in football.

Youth Team
For a club like Dortmund to even look at him with there team and youth system he must be a good player and good technically not a hoof-baller I think this could be a quality signing if it comes off could be better than Gunter given a chance

Gary

No wonder my post count..
What do we know about this guy then?

Forest are probably after loads of highly-rated youngsters at the minute, behind the scenes. All part of the plan.

Calderwood did a number on him by throwing him back in when he clearly wasn't ready to be playing (even from the bench)

Erm, no he didn't. Bennett did his cruciate knee injury in the same game as Calderwood got sacked. Losing 4-2 to Doncaster at home on Boxing Day.

We've been linked with him along with Seffield Wed today by the Daily Star;

Not quite; Julian missed most of the start of that season with a broken collarbone; he didn't actually play until October that season.

Whether that lack of a proper pre-season and resulting sharpness was a contributing factor for his later knee injury against Doncaster, we will never know...

That was the game when Calderwood decide to bring all his 3 subs on at half time, Bennet got injured shortly after but carried on trying to play as we couldn't bring a sub on, he continued until he broke down completely.

Bet he loves Colin for that.

I think thats wrong? He definitely played against wolves i think as he picked up a calf injury and played some games in august and september. before coming back and breaking his collarbone at the end of october.

Colin then rushed him back, chucking him on as a sub in that donny game where he got that big injury.

I think

Either way, twig is wrong

You might be right.

There's plenty of injuries and a broken collarbone in there somewhere!
