It's easy to say we're well stocked in Midfield but he's someone that I would take. I think he'd most definitely add to what we've got. If we could ship Shelvey out somewhere that would be a monumental upgrade.

That’s what I meant. At the beginning of this season some people were all Jed Wallace this, Joel Piroe that, and we ended up targetting players like Navas, Felipe, Danilo, Lodi and the Bundesliga lot as well as a few we didn’t get over the line - Batshuai for one.

If we do actually want Ruben Neves then I certainly think we’d be in with a shout, even if we didn’t end up getting him.

Who could possibly blame him for wanting to move away from there first opportunity he gets.

Assuming he's not off to Barca we should grab him, he'd be a great fit with MGW I reckon

I remember wolves at home (in the cup?) when they bought Neves on - that was a 'welcome to the premier league' moment for me, in that while it wasn't a prem game you could have that level of talent on the bench as a PL squad. Crazy.

Definitely not coming to Forest.

Hes been wanting a move to a big club (i.e. champions league club) for a few years but for whatever reason no acceptable bid has really materialised. He has one year left so Wolves will be more willing to sell but it sounds like the deal to Barca is wrapped up (possibly a player swap)
