England call-up would be tricky for a Wesh international
MGW is clearly better, we agree with that, yes?Again it's horses for courses for me. Yes against Arsenal it was an excellent defensive performance without him, but against Southampton in particular it was an excellent attacking performance with him.
Not sure I'd agree he's the worst of those three either. Maybe in a very short term sense at the end of the season, slightly.
You just know the sticking point would still be Arter...Seems legit…

That was a genuine accident though. Neco's looking surprisingly recovered from that given that he'd been whacked in the face though you'd imagine he'll need to play with protection for a bit and probably has had to have the jaw wired.Apart from when Johnson basically teed off on Neco's jaw, was a proper nasty one that.
The notion that he wouldn't make our starting XI now but there are a queue of Premier League clubs that would pay a fortune for him does make me chuckle, it has to be said.Brennan Johnson not good enough for Nottingham Forest.
Unbelievable.

We'd never have been a premiership club this season without him either AshThe notion that he wouldn't make our starting XI now but there are a queue of Premier League clubs that would pay a fortune for him does make me chuckle, it has to be said.
Brennan started all but one of our Premier League wins this season (Arsenal at home, where he was left out of the XI for tactical reasons), so the "we improved when he wasn't playing" line doesn't ring true for me; most of our points came when he was in the starting XI this season. We'd be a Championship club without him right now.
True. He's been excellent for us for two seasons now and a big part of why we are where we are. We win one game without him in the starting XI against Arsenal and all of a sudden he's deemed not starting XI material by some anymore. Short memories IMO.We'd never have been a premiership club this season without him either Ash
I called this back in 2017!Brennan Johnson not good enough for Nottingham Forest.
I am a genius.15 years old and no first team experience. Never going to make it. Take the money I say.
It says a lot about how poorly thought out that bullshit Daily Mail article was that Everton fans are also taking the piss out of it.Amusing exchange on the Everton forum regarding Brennan:
Scouse 1: Apparently we are interested in Brennan Johnson.
Scouse 2: I'm interested in Margot Robbie.
Scouse 3: I used to be interested in Ulrika Jonsson. That didn't materialise either.
Dream on, I wouldn't debase myself!Scouse 2: I'm interested in Margot Robbie.
Perhaps they can go back in for Andre Ayew now that he's a free agent after we beat them to his signature in January? It says a lot about how poorly thought out that bullshit Daily Mail article was that Everton fans are also taking the piss out of it.
Lies.Dream on, I wouldn't debase myself!
Well, he's good enough for Nottingham Forest, but his new hairdo isn't. What's with the ugly blonde dye, is he trying to look more Brazilian?Brennan Johnson not good enough for Nottingham Forest.
That's currently Burke ain't it?Seem to recall Everton offering 1 million for Brennan as a schoolboy. Surprised that Fazza didn't cash in to be honest. Whatever happens, he's going to be our most profitable academy graduate one day!
That's currently Burke ain't it?

Yeah I reckon cash was £3m more. Not too sure, possibly Cash ?
Forward thinking David platt wisely spending £3m on David Johnson, clearly knowing he’d have a son who would get Forest promoted, help keep them there and be worth £50mishBrennans goals in the last two seasons have made us a couple of hundred million already
