Big Game Tonight!

Rich

Rice IV
I think he has still photos of the match, but he's being lazy and hasn't uploaded them yet.

I look forward to seeing them tomorrow.

I believe he has one of me looking very angry after the first deflected goal.

A tiny amount. Not really worthy of posting. To get any decent footage of the game you need to film it from the side which obviously is quite difficult. I'll try an get some next week, plus interviews of course.

I have tried to post them but people keep on posting messages and I then have to find them again and it's pissing me off. :D

The Interviews are certainly keeping me up to date with LTLF FC. Which is good, be good to see some of the pictures.

And that in English is?..

Lost that loving feeling of the young striker tonight about his crisis of confidence after a disappointing performance in tonight's victory 15-3 Powerleague. Despite playing with clarity what he believed to be a free role in front, the forward did not find the back of the net to the poor quality of opposition.

Speculation is now mounting that will be left out of the team. LTLF veteran of the spring-heeled Jack has spoken of his desire to return to first team football after a long spell out injured.

Sod this, the images are too big (especially the one with Rich in ;D ).

I'll resize them tomorrow when I have nothing to do.

Nick.

Jack Armstrong
Young LTLF FC Striker Nick Doyle, has spoke tonight of his lack of form, and says "He just needs the confidence" and promised to re-discover his form.
The striker is leading the way up in the top goalscorer for LTLF FC, but tonight managed not to net a goal, but set up afew. He spoke "I like to set up too as well as scoring, It's a team effort afterall"
He quashed rumours of old team pal Spring Heeled jack filling in for Nick, He said" SHJ, is a very good friend of mine, being dubbed as Dobie isn't too bad He lives up to it well"

I know, in three gamesd I've not been beaten fairly.

4 goals conceded in 3 games, 3 deflections and one blindsided by Winnits.

If you were in the correct position in the first place, my blocking of your view (which I maintain is blameless from my point of view) would be irrelevant :p

Right, there's far too many optimists around at the moment. Here'san alternative perspective, brought to you from Kilburn's blog:

A lucky 15-3 victory tonight did little to disguise the weak squad and tactical ineptitude of a side that clearly lacks AMBITION.

Serious about promotion? Dont make me laugh. Oscar needs to go now. Lets look at the FACTS:

-At the start of the season it was impossible for us to get relegated. Now, with Oscar at the helm, there is now a Division 7, thus making relegation theoretically possible and therefore FAR MORE LIKELY.
-We are still 267 consecutive promotions (and 6 players) away from entering the Football League structure. An AMBITIOUS club would have already bribed their way into the Blue Square Premier by now.
-Last week we conceded one goal. This week we conceded three. Extrapolating this trend out means that we are due to concede NINE goals next week and TWENTY-EIGHT the week after!
-Our chairman has not bought a SINGLE player since the club was formed. Not only this, but we dont even HAVE a Chairman, I demand we appoint a Chairman so that we can then solve all our problems by sacking him.

Al you and Rich stop the B*****G, it's starting to sound like a take from Wilson & Smith, It's a team game, if we conceed, we conceed as a team.  :D

Did your brother tell you about a quite excellent sliding tackle and then blamed it on "being clumsy" :D

I've not spoken to him this evening, so no, he didn't :)

I am indeed getting close to being back to full fitness and will be looking to break back into the LTLF squad.

Oscar, when I return, I think it would be wise for you to issue a statement saying that I am "like a new signing."

From Yahoo! Sports:

LTLF FC boss Oscar has taken advantage of his new found popularity by blasting team stalwarts Rich Crouch and Alan Fisher.

Despite public statements by both players to the contrary, rumours have been rife amongst the LTLF fanbase of a bust up between the influential pair. These rumours were lent extra credence when Fisher was left out of the LTLF squad this evening, despite a solid performance and no known injury problems this evening.

There is suggestion of unnecessary attempts to upset the dressing room of resurgent LTLF FC though, with Fisher not a regular member of the first team squad. He was happy to admit himself due to commitments with other teams, he considers himself very much a back up player for LTLF FC.

Fisher was unavailable for comment after his manager's apparent outburst, however Rich Crouch was found in a local Nandos, and simply said "What's he said now? Ignore the fat arsed ****!". It is unclear about whom the goalkeeper was referring, as he had imbibed rather freely and it wasn't clear whether he understood the questions that were put to him.

On the field of course LTLF FC notched up another convincing win, putting them well into the promotion picture - so perhaps this is a team that thrives on controversy.

Alan Fisher reported to me this morning saying " Boss do you really need me in the team for the big derby match tonight, it's just that I have some important DIY to attend to". I replied by by saying "Alan, you Do It Yourself, we will be playing football".

Team Physio Report

The team Physio has reported that SHJ is approx 2-3 weeks away from a return, after a long spell out with a serious injury. Manager Oscar will be monotoring his fitness levels and was reported to say his return will be "like a new signing"

Right I'll have a go at this..

Errm..

First half we had a tactic, the one we use in 95% of games. To have one player sitting in the middle at the back and anyone else picks up players out wide. This really didn't work as you cut through us no end of times and were 3-0 up in no time at all.
We then struggled to get any rhythm going and were subjected to having long range shots, of which one went in (courtesy of me!) NOT a deflection Rich....

I forget what the score was at half time, 8 or 9 -1? But our keeper (who was actually our best player IMO) said that our tactics were not working and that we should just all pick a man and stay with him. Thus we did and dominated the opening 10-15 mins of the second half and actually had a 1 goal lead for a while.

You guys clicked into gear once again though and played some really good stuff and by the end it was a bit of a cricket score.

But second half I thought was fairly even, but we were always going to struggle with confidence taking a knock with that first half display.

Special mentions to Rich in goal, very good display. Makes himself big at the edge of the area and it was very hard to pass. Rhods was quality, we couldn't handle you mate, just couldn't knock you off the ball.

MOM Rhods

Well done lads, best team we've played this season by far. Looking forward to the "return" leg.

Sorry for tripping you up dude!

Oh don't worry about it mate. I only reacted the way I did cos' I was annoyed by our performance and your team had commited a few of them type of tackles on us (that was the point I was trying to make, not to you in particular) I think I actually played a part in getting you sent off! Boo this man!!!

A few of our lads said you were a dirty team, I disagreed and said you were just physical, you wanted it more than our lads. But saying that, not a lot of our players like to "put it about".
