Best location for away fans @ the CG

Inbetween Forest fans coming out the Trent End and the rest of Brian Clough? Also, how is it the most unpopular part of the ground? It's always full and also accomodates disabled fans, it's probably the most populated area of the ground?!

BC Lower at the Bridgford End would be my shout.

Bizarre post. Always full? That section has been full this season once only - for the Bournemouth game. It wasn't even full against Derby. It was virtually empty on Sunday. Also the disabled fans are in the lower tier.

I just hate seeing empty red seats on TV

Therefore we should fill from the front with home fans and shove the away fans up in the stands

Upper Trent or upper bridgford would be best

We should edge them in to the very corner of the lower Bridgford (the cheesewedge and bit next to it) with a max allocation of about 1500. That would leave the rest of the lower Bridgford for Forest fans (reasonably priced hopefully). The 1500 should be enough for the vast majority of away fans. If teams require further (Leeds, Derby, Leicester etc) they should be given a further 1500 in the first 2 blocks of the Brian Clough lower. 3K is a fair allocation. 2k is a bit paltry I think.

I know that Nuno that I know that Nuno that I know
Rail seat the Lower BC & let them have half for League games & all of it for Cup where the allocation will be sold.

Upper bridgford I think. Really think this has to be changed. Them being behind the goal really gives them too much of a presence in our ground, makes them too visible, they can be very loud and put our keeper off etc. if we're to stay at the city ground Really think from next season they should be moved. This has bothered me for years actually, really hope fawaz changes it.forest fans behind the goal

Yeah, should work. Given the inconsistent Policing and Stewarding I'd be more than happy with 3,000 Leeds, Derby, Leicester... sat above me

I know what you meant really and I'd agree but access isn't ideal from the coaches, unless they park in the main stand car park.

What you mean in terms of throwing things etc? Hmm, suppose that could be an issue. Maybe another part of ground then? Suppose there are various things to consider though

The more you nullify the away end it has a negative impact on the atmosphere overall.

This. But I sometimes wonder if me and Winnits are the only people who think this.

I'd love to go back to how things were. It made for a great atmosphere when the LB was full of away fans. From where I sit the noisier the away end usually meant the noisier A block and whateverit'scallednow corner.

Let's be right tho.

The LB would only be on 4 occasions.

Get the pricing right for lower bridgford and surround um. Sell season tickets under the screen for £150 to students. Something to get it full

Ideal world, Forest behind both goals with away fans isolated in the lower BC in the middle then filling out as more space required.

Hmm. I'm not sure £150 students next to the away fans are going to provide an intimidating atmosphere.

i think the end of the main stand is now very near. i can see all the lower bridgford being given to home fans (i was told by jimbo that is what the club would like but that was opposed by the police and council) some alterations were needed to accomodate the away fans in the lower brian clough. my guess is that this work will be done in the close season. reduced capacity for one season whilst the main stand is replaced ???? a blockers moving en bloc to the much cheaper bridgford end ????? job done !

Presumably a significant number of A blockers don't like to sit behind the goal, so why assume they'd move to lower bridgford?

I like the view from both and in some ways a lot more in lb. The noise that could be generated in lb is way louder then a block could ever make!
Without away fans in ear shot the atmosphere might always be flat but if we did go up we'd get a full house every week, keeping the away fans in lb would defo create a good amount of noise. Of course these day trippers might never sing anyway.
Would love rail seats for all of lb, and this new main stand could be a great place for some pitch side imagine the roar as we are attacking the wings the players would thrive on it.
I think I need some pills.

a) Keep them where they are. We lost some money by not allowing more away fans this season but I'm thinking longer term. There's a better atmosphere for Forest when we outnumber away fans big style thus are more likely to get promoted and earn more in the Prem for the next decade.

If we drop to mid 2nd tier in future seasons then make more away seats available to make more money cos we ain't going nowhere and we might as well have their money.

b) in the Trent

c) none of these

I think it works pretty well as it is. LB just needs to grow a bit.
A Block, Upper Bridgford and LB together creates a cracking atmosphere I think.
Although not a season ticket holder I wouldn't want away fans in Upper Bridgford.
Its a good atmosphere and view up there.

LBC is best option, or on the far side of LB next to a block....
