Was hoping to come up for one of these shows. Sadly it now isn't happening.
Hopefully someone can report back as to what is said.

I'd like to see him in the Darren Fletcher hosting role. That's where his future lies for me IMO.

How was last night to those that went?
Much more candid than any of the previous an evening with type events I've been to in the past.

Along with a few good stories of days past that were new to me he still obviously feels very strongly about us and would love to come back as Chairman/DOF.

He gave some indication that Fawaz is difficult to work with citing staff not being paid and Fawaz ringing players as 2 examples. He also feels that mid table will be our lot unless Fawaz learns to but out.

A very good night, drunk as a lord and had the best seat in the house.

Going next week so looking forward to it. Roughly what time did Psycho come on stage?

The Fawaz section sort of confirms our suspicions and fears about the owner. I do wish he would "butt out" and use his money sensibly and usefully so that all of us, owner and fans and staff, could achieve what the club is clearly capable of.

You'll love it, glad I didn't spoil any stories now, I forgot there was another one!
About 8ish I think went on until nearly 10 with a short break.

Did he give any indication on how he would do that?
He said that he would happily lead a syndicate of local businessmen with a passion for Forest. Whether that was alluding to a plan or just a pipe dream I don't know.

Not far off! I could have stretched out and given him a tweak. ;)

He'd have kicked you into the middle of next week, Ted McMinn style.

The other lot offered the shareholders more money in their pockets, I think is how that might have ended.

Yeah it did.
Can we get Pearce to go round Sandy's house and talk him back into getting his money out.

Interestingly, Nigel Doughty was a member of Sandy Anderson's original consortium. As Anderson was/is a very wealthy man in his own right, it begs the question how things possibly would've turned out had Larry Lloyd, amongst others, not been able to 'persuade' just enough of his 199 fellow members to form the majority required to accept The Bridgeford (sic) Consortium's shareholders offer.

As Francis rightly implies above, the Anderson offer involved considerably more money (£30m was a reported figure at the time), but ALL of it would have gone into the club rather than a significant amount also going towards 'purchasing' shares.
