No - last night was just very different to any other "meet the manager" I've been to.
All the others have always "played to their image".
Cooper is different. Very different. In a good way.
You just have to listen to the post match interviews to know this - it's not all clichés and sound bites.
This bloke has the best interests and future of the club very much at the front of his remit.
It's difficult to put into words and I have been thinking about how to say it.
Forest is a strange, difficult and unique club who needs someone unusual at the helm.
And I am not alone in thinking we just might have it now.

The period between the 2nd goal and penalty v Derby - he just found that to be an atmosphere and feeling unlike anything he'd experienced anywhere.
YOu will also like the idea that the 1st half performance v Leicester is "how he wants us to play, all the time." He recognises it's dangerous and both physically and mentally challenging, but that's what he wants.
He and the 1st team management are actively looking at players' mentality as well as their physical attributes and prowess - he wants players who can think and adapt in real time instead of just "doing their thing".
I think everyone who was there last night will ahve been impressed with how much interaction he and his team have with the academy at all levels - he's clearly looking at junior and younger players' pathways more actively than I would have expected from the 1st team coach
