Why isn't it like last night all the time?

Can Forest please turn the Trent End back into an all singing, all dancing stand.

I want some of this:

Everybody who wants to sing should all be in one or two areas, behind either goal!

You can still stand up if there are seat there. I mean realistically what could the stewards do if the whole stadium stood up

Realistically they could close the stand for the next home game.

I quite enjoyed the atmosphere last night, especially the bit when all the miserable bastards f**ked off home with 10 minutes to go, so that the rest of us could applaud our team in peace and quiet.

and lose out on x amount of money and potentially lose fans? I doubt that very much. The problem with the world these days is too many people moan but no **** ever does anything about it. I dont mind sitting down anyway

It's always amazing how those who 'did one' forget the thrilling season we have had, our side were worthy of better and got it from those of us who stayed (not the glory hunters)

Damn right. As much as everybody has a right to sit where they want and do what they want, so many people around me in the Trent End sat there in silence all season, and they are usually the ones who moan and groan as well. If people are there purely for entertainment and want to sit in peace and quiet, bugger off to the Brian Cloug stand.

Ok, so a few things conspired against us in the playoffs, but getting behind the team has had a visibly significant and positive impact on performance, where as the moaning and groaning has the opposite effect.

The stands behind the goals should be full of people who want to stand, sing and shout and get behind the team for 90 minutes like they used to. Why can't we have a drummer and some jumping and scarf waving? I want us to have a song for every player and come up with funny chants like we did when I was a kid.

It wouldn't necessarily be their choice if it was deemed a ground safety hazard.

There was a group of "fans" in the pub I as in decrying those that had left early.

I think the irony of these superfans accusing those that left of not being real supporters, from the comfort of a pub not half an hour away from the ground, was lost on them.

Well I left early. It wasnt because I didnt want to clap the team off. It was because I couldnt bare to watch the carnival that was ensuing in the away end

well now nick clegg is deputy prime minister maybe we can have a look at safe standing like the libs said they would.

tbh with you as much as I agree we should have this type of support every game, I am glad in a way that next season for most of it we will have 20,000 fans and the fair weather big game fans will stay at home moaning and the t.v and not in the stands.

I couldnt believe the shit I was hearing as people left last night "youre a f***ing disgrace" shouted one "fan", yes you most certainly are.

People want to leave early fine thats their choice but they could at least do it queitly and defoo not run back into the ground screaming and celebrating when Dex scores and he then the rest of the Forest team run into the fans that bothered to stay!

Same here. I left with about 2 minutes of stoppage time to go, and it was the first time i've ever left before the final whistle. Couldnt bear to see another team (ala yeovil and derby) dancing around in celebration on our pitch as our players looked distraught.

I never understand why people moan about people leaving early, as if its some kind of badge of honour that you decided to sit through an extra minute or 2.

Aye, I don't mind people leaving early, their choice.

Let's keep this thread on track and about the incredible atmosphere from last night. It was the best I've experienced for as far back as I can remember. It was twice as good as when we got promotion from L1!

Maybe we should start a Facebook group, as a petition to get vocal Forest fans behind BOTH goals.

As someone next to me pointed out, everyone sticks their arms in the air singing ''forest til I die'' but can't bear to stay for the full 90 if we are loosing.

One thing I cant work out is why we alll sing when we are winning but as soon as we go behind > when my natural reaction would be to sing more and get behind the lads, everyone shuts up. Its not just us, all football fans do it I just dont understand.

I stayed til the end last night, we've come so far this season the lads deserved a better.

Mate we should just face the facts were not real fans at all.

Agree. There was one point where I think Perch played a shit pass off the pitch and everybody started moaning and groaning, but Billy came out the dug out waving his arms and got us all going again, it was brilliant!

We used to have a drummer! I'm pretty sure that was around the time we were flirting between Premier League and Championship?
