Are we are all still in Depeche 'Mode' or are we all now in Quo 'Mode' Forest all over the world?

I've had a few discussions with a couple of folk regarding the end of game winning celebration tune Status Quo's Rockin' All Over the World.

Personally, in my opinion, being an owd bogger I love it. As much as I love I Just Can't Get enough, I think it now belongs in the Steve Cooper locker. A great manager along with a great anthem, but.... It's a new era now, and I don't mind a bit of Quo after a victory.

Is Rockin' All Over The World, a yah or a nay? Or should things stay the same?

Anyone know if any other teams use the Quo tune on their tannoy?

I quite liked the change up, you are correct in saying that Just can't get enough belongs to Cooper.

Not sure if Rockin all over the world is the one, but Forest all over the world is one of my favourite chants so if it increases the use of that chant in the stadium as a whole, I'm very happy with that.

It's a yay from me - especially hearing Parfitt Jrn is a fan. Can't get enough is so ubiquitous around the grounds it's in danger of becoming tinpot (as fun as it is). Have to say our setlist before the games is mega.

Yes from me.

Just can't get enough is Cooper era.

They need to drop freed from desire as well for the same reason, no one really sings to it now anyway.

I like Just cant get enough though........

I wish someone would do a professionally produced Mull of Kintyre with the Forest lyrics though. Any famous Forest supporting musicians to do a record of it would be nice.

Lots of clubs do Rocking All Over the World: Liverpool, Sheff U, Millwall to name a few.

Would be hard to find something that wasn't ubiquitous.

IJCGE can go, it was specific to a moment.

Replacements, meh!

Original is always best Emmo, ;) alot of us were there when it was first born back in early December 1977.

MOK was still in the charts when we won our first League Cup and was the biggest selling record of '77.
Twelve weeks in the top 10 including nine weeks at number one.

Whilst I love Depeche Mode, it's good to change it up.

I'm a much bigger fan of Depeche Mode's 1986 onwards output rather than their very early synth pop anyway. However Just Can't Get Enough is a great tune to lose yourself to. Will always be synonymous with the Cooper era for me.

Oh Btw... MOK and Rockin' All Over The World, were both in the charts at the same time.

I think I said not long ago Depeche Mode was a promotion/staying up thing and so strongly connected to all those memories, it was fefinitely time for something fresh and to move forward. I'm not sure Status Quo is the one, just reminded me of going to Panthers years ago (not been in a long time so don't know if they still play it?), but it was a welcome change up nonetheless.

I thought Depeche Mode has been flat for quite a while now, I think we should have changed it last season.

Rocking all over the world gets everyone involved old and young but I think just can't get enough is more for people who were around in the 80's and digital music.
It's a good old fashioned song from an era when we had real music so I would vote for rocking all over the world
