As he’s unlikely to feature on Saturday - how about a round of applause on the 8th minute for Chris Cohen?

He’s been a great servant to the club and always acted impeccably.

*Chris. If you’re reading this - your Forest shirt would look nice, framed on my wall. I’ll even warm my hands before I cup them for you!

Is there even talk of him playing?

Is he retiring officially?

He’s been doing some coaching for a while now and has lead a few drills in warmups a couple of months back.

He will take the U23 managers role I reckon. There probably a reason it ain’t been filled yet.

My first thought too. Surely we can do more than polite applause?

What were you thinking of?

Maybe a minutes chorus of “One Chrissy Cohen”?

I don’t want him to retire at the end of the season without some appreciation being shown by the fans

I'd like to defer to Forza Garibaldi at this point who have a track record in impressive gestures.

Yeah, maybe they could make a massive £50 note the size of the upper Trent End to indicate the huge amount of cash he's earned for sitting on his arse ?

You mean, twice coming back from what would usually be a career ending injury to try to get his place back?

Save the insults for Fryatt and Hobbs. Chris has been a solid Forest professional who has a genuine affinity for and from the club. He was the best player in a side that nearly made it to the Premier League and provided a fair percentage of our fan base the only good times they've seen at Forest.

Well said. Chris Cohen is about as much of a model pro as you can get. It's not through lack of effort that he has been unable to get over his injury problems. He has been a fantastic servant to the club, I hope we find a role for him at the club at the end of the season.

You've gone a bit Alf there.

To be honest, I've never forgiven him for those crass comments in the matchday programme complaining about the high rate of tax he has to pay. Boo f***ing hoo.

Didn't see that, but that's why nobody (and I've done it) should go over the top with the 'love' for a professional football player.

They're among the luckiest laziest self egotistical human beings on the planet.

This goal though. This goal.

Possibly the finest strike perpetrated by a Forest player in the last twenty years.

Lewis McGugan and Radoslaw Majewski a close second.

These minutes applause for random reasons in a designated minute get on my tits.

Happy to give him a decent round of applause though if he makes an appearance

The current threshold for getting a designated applause is pretty f***ing low

If there’s any current player who deserves a testimonial, then it is Christopher David Cohen.

If we can keep him involved in the club at some level (I know he’s doing his badges and has been involved with the youth sides) so much the better.

I would rather see a testimonial game over the summer too, rather than a 5 minute cameo at the end of the season.

What was the last testimonial we had for a player?

I'm gonna say Des but that feels an awful long time ago.
