Just to make Vrankcx feel better I'm gonna say no thanks to this one too haha!

Same reasons, although I understand he'd probably just be back-up to Yates or vie for a place with him, and if we did end up with McAtee on loan or something we'd (for the present time) have added an AM without spending on a transfer fee so then it makes spending on a DM a different proposition. But yeah, I don't think all tall players are incapable of being skillful (I'm 6"2 myself so wouldn't so that haha, not to mention Collymore was 6"3 which is nearly as tall as this guy), but I certainly would think we could be a bit lacking in both balls skills and ability to turn if we ended up with Stach and Yates on the pitch at the same time or something (and only Lingard and two forwards ahead of them).

I'd honestly say closer to the £2m than £20m would seem right though anyway, albeit only seeing the video of those highlights from one game.

Speaking of being big, I know I've got big feet but the box that my trainers just arrived in is taking the piss

Onana looking like he would cost nearly £40M, if rumours of W Ham's bids are accurate. Based on data, Stach isn't as aggressive a tackler as Onana or Yates, and doesn't appear to have Yates' knack of arriving late in the attacking third, but in pretty much all other metrics, he's far ahead of where Ryan was last season. Plus, he's recently come into Die Mannschaft setup.

Doubt he'd be cheap, but could be the final part of the CM jigsaw, vying with Yates for a spot alongside O'Brien, Mangala or Colback. I still like the look of Vranckx, but seems he's no longer a target and it looks like Carvalho is going to Lyon.

Another timely reminder of the need for good punctuation. It should have read "Dear Lord, Finsbury...." so as to indicate it was an expletive invoking the name of the supreme being rather than lifting you up with to peerage my old fruit.

You might not be aware but some on here have an unhealthy fascination with young Mr Yates and the alleged contents on his shorts... (Statto flare goes up)
