Statement from Fleetwood Town Football Club
Fleetwood Town can confirm we have agreed to accept the resignation of manager Steven Pressley.

Sorry, someone change the name of the thread to "first managerial exit of the season". It's 4:38 am and I've been up since 9 the morning before.

I'm sure fleetwood fans loved being shit last season and probably will be again this season.

This seems like a rather late time to be getting rid of a manager. Two weeks before the season kicks off. Why couldn't they have done it earlier?

Steve Bruce also resigned last week, so he's not the first either ;)

From the newspaper article, the club and the manager were discusing the way they saw the season going and they didn't agree so the manager walked.

That's a mental decision. I really rate Jackett, would like to see him here if (God forbid) the Montanier experiment goes tits up!

Uwe Rosler to Fleetwood. Is he slowly going down in the world?

He's certainly made a couple of unfortunate decisions since leaving Brentford that's for sure. I like his footballing approach though, so hopefully he'll turn around his fortunes by doing well at Fleetwood.

It was mutual consent apparently. Both decided they couldnt go on together. With suspicious minds.
