Articles I've seen are quoting €1m as the fee which if true is excellent business!

He was an alright squad player in the Championship. Nothing more, nothing less. As others have said, we've had much worse.

Given that we brought him for £200k and are now selling him for €1m (around £840k), I'd say we've done alright out of this deal.

Good luck to the lad

A punt which has returned 4x it's value in a year whilst being an all-round good egg and squad member. What's not to like.

I love these little side pieces of business we do with players. The value really adds up over several players.

Thats what happens when you join the big boys. People start to believe your players are better than they are by virtue of the league you play in.

All that being said, at 24 with some pretty good attributes hes probably not a bad bet for them at that level and price...

We've certainly fallen for it over the years, paying well over the odds for rejects from Premier league clubs. Good to see it working the other way now.

I wonder if it was part of the Panzo deal? Or at least, wonder if that deal created a working relationship between Forest and Dijon.

I can't understand why Dijon would come in for him now otherwise, considering he's not played for like two years, and pay us a reported £800k when we were prepared to give him away for free in January.
