A positive, winning culture!

There is something at the club at the moment. It's bigger than the results. It's a culture of positive, supportive players and fans, which has come down from the manager.

Can we keep this going? Will key people leave for supposedly better pastures? Would they rather be part of something special here, or a bench warmer at a mid table Premier League side?

How do we keep the team together, and the atmosphere going? Or is the answer Steve Cooper?

Its almost as if we've removed a "political monster" from the day to day happenings at the club, and in doing so addressed a rank culture which undermined a lot of staff

Right seniors out, right seniors in. Pretty much a new club now. Just need to keep going.

Would it continue without the 5 loan players in today’s starting line up?

When we won the playoff final we had ElGhazi, Abraham, Mings and Tuanzebe each on loan and each started. Its a way to get promoted if u don't have the cash to buy the players. Nothing wrong with it and if u get up to the PL I am sure most if not all will become Forest players

It all seems too good to be true, I'm concerned that it can't possibly last. Copper will be tempted away and the loans go as do Wazza, Johno and Yates.
Then I wake up in a cold sweat. Please can it not happen like that.

Prepare yourself, there will be setbacks. We will lose people, but if we can keep moving forwards without them, then we’ll finally make progress.

You’re right, there is certainly a buzz around the WFCG right now. Everyone is talking about us as the team to watch.

It’s more than a good run of results and it’s more than a good performance or two.

There’s a magic about us again. :)

What happened to the scapegoat thread? It appears to have been made redundant, at least for now.

It'll be hard to go to Blackburn on wed after this emotional high.
Many were saying that the cups result wasn't important, our priority is the league.
A great match but it wo t mean a thing unless we pick up our 2pts per game ratio, which is currently 1.5ppg in our last 6 matches.
I hope the winning culture and positivity lasts, but doesn't make us vulnerable.

I ask myself, what would be considered a successful season?
Five games in, it was staying in the league. Fifteen games in, it was being comfortably mid-table.

But now? I feel like if we were to get past Huddersfield and into the last eight of the FA Cup and secure a play-off spot, that would be a job well done.

We're currently 7 pts behind where we were under Lamouchi, which given our start is fantastic.
This is also the furthest we've gone in the FA Cup since the 2013-2014 season.

If we lose to Huddersfield and finish 8th, this is still a brilliant season. We've just beaten Derby, Millwall, Arsenal and Leicester.

Cooper will know that taking a club this size up after 20 odd years in the wilderness will earn him legend status. He'll stay till we reach the promised land, I'm sure of it. He'll also want to make a good go of it in the Prem, and if bigger clubs come calling after then so be it.

1993/94 promotion team obviously special.

Slow start like this season. 8 points from first 8 games. 13 points from first 12. We recovered this season to 14 points from first 12 games.

Currently we are on 46 points after 30 games. They were on 48.

Won 10 , drew 5 & lost 1 of their last 16 games (35 points) to end with 83 points in 2nd which was 9 clear of 3rd.

It feels like we only getting better. No expectations but I say who knows what can happen in this league. Winning, positive culture.
