A (belated) Happy Birthday Francesco

The enigmatic but consistently brilliant Francesco Totti hit 40 this week. Made his debut for I Lupi in 1992 aged just 16. Since then he's played over 600 games and scored more than 300 goals.

In an age where player loyalty has all but vanished, this guy stands out as the archetypal one club man.

I'm also a sucker for the 'number ten', the heart, soul and brains of all great teams and this guy is one of the best there's ever been.
