Same here.

Frustrating when Ian Moore had just beaten Sprake but hit the bar. Leeds league leaders.

Played six games (?) at Meadow Lane and didn't win one. Bad news.

I was not there. After a rather hairy day on a sick VC10 we arrived in New York and not one station mentioned it on the news. I had to wait until several days later to find details; no internet in those days, just World Service on short wave.
