Tricky one as the Brentford game is clearly more important - for me beat Brentford & we really are in the automatic battle (particularly with Norwich to come in the following week!) - but be good to get through to the 5th round.
Anyway tough game today. Forests 20th place seems a bit false. Since we beat they've only lost to up the top like Brentford, Norwich. Middlesbrough they lost to recently and they've had a few red cards in those losses.
They're missing quite a few players.
Big changes for both teams.
Both resting key players, will be a test of squad depth.
If our team says we're focusing on the league, what does Forest's 10 changes say about them?
Jenkinson could have seen red for that.
Forest have come to play today, should be an interesting match.

Two great goals so far what a strike from Grimes.to think we have Ayew, Fulton, Smith, Cabango, Naughton and Bidwell not on the pitch yet we are winning and controlling the game against another Championship side.

Comfortable lead for us and some good passages of play. It is hard to say how far this will carry over into league form, given how many changes there are in both teams, but you can only beat what is put in front of you.
Jenkinson does enjoy a comical slip.
Been a great first half, we're at half pace and still a class above the scabs.
We've come out with a negative mindset, and this goal was a direct result of passing the ball back and then making a mess of things. This negativity happens too often with us when we have a lead.

Yes, I would be furious if that were given against us. Manning was somewhat obviously looking for it. I guess it helps to equal out the bad ones a bit....and the 4th arrives, it's done now, I hope.
Yes it was soft but the defender left himself wide open dangling his leg out lovely 4the goal great work in the build up from Dhanda and Olly Cooper lovely finish from Cullen.
Boom 4-1 It's a rout now.
They get a goal and we chose to up the ante and pummel them to drive a 3 goal margin wedge and destroy their hopes. With calculated vengeance.
I thought we'd win but notso easily. Maybe the soft penalty knocked the stuffing out of them, having not long got back into the game.
Any big win leaves a warm glow but, looking at matters dispassionately, how crap were forest and Kevin Friednd? Again proving a shocking referee. He's done US before and today it was Forest to suffer a disgraceful decision; embarrassing to behold.
Forest were dire and lacked basic attitude and guts. We won't play a bigger shyhouse of a team this season. Hughton got big issues there.
Even played the last 11 mins plus injury time with 10.
We haven't scored more than 2 in a game this season.
Not sure but I think it might be a first, 5 goals all by left footed shots, I know we have never done that before.
