How come a couple of numbers (eg 40) are repeated, please?
Last known officially confirmed numbers for some of the young players - Hammond, Konate, Larson - appear to have been worn by other players in pre-season - and with those not being official, and some of those players likely not being here - then it's questionable who will have that number come official confirmation time...

TL: DR - waiting on official confirmations.

Sorry, not wanting to pick on you - you've spelt much harder names correctly. It's just odd to me that Frueler is more common on the forum than Freuler for some reason :)

I don't feel picked on - I appreciate the help. I'll be dropping typos all over the place today, as I'm coming off a full-weekend music festival 😁

I always cock it up. I think it is because when you say his name you pronounce the U more than the E in the first part of his name.

Anyway, names and numbers which I currently hate

2. Giulian Biancone - France - Should be Aurier
3. Steve Cook - England - Should be Richards
5. Orel Mangala - Belgium - A centre mid should never be 5 unless you name is Zidane. Give him 6.
6. Jonjo Shelvey - England - He doesn't deserve a squad number.
7. Neco Williams - Wales - Don't be stupid.
8. Cheikhou Kouyaté - Senegal (Changed from 21, per pre-season appearances) - Are they giving the number 8 shirt to the oldest midfielder in the squad on purpose?
20. Brennan Johnson - Wales - Would look better with the number 7 shirt.
22. Ryan Yates - England - Vice Captain - Would look better with the number 8 shirt.
38. Felipe - Brazil - Give him the 18 shirt he had at Athletico or the number 5.
41. Brandon Aguilera - Costa Rica - Needs a better number.

Love this list @congo_red, being inherently lazy means I can just have a quick look daily and watch the gaps get filled 👏👏

Good enough for me. I've popped him against 21 - as the list isn't anywhere near official at the moment anyway.
Now confirmed anyway
