Agree with this.
Was hoping this season we'd be doing a Palace/Bournemouth and as you say, without all the shite, we probably would be.
Keepers/set pieces cost us a few points too. Sels would have been worth a few more points on his own.
Hopefully we stay up and keep the majority of this...
And yet Brighton have a penalty shout turned down for an arm pull and kick on the back of the leg.
Doesn’t “meet the threshold” though.
It’s utter nonsense. They don’t know what they are doing.
They were both hit straight at him. The Nunez one is awful finishing, he had such a huge gap to the left side of the goal
Awful player for the money. Not half as bad as Antony mind.
Absolutely. If the decision is not given on field, there can be 'not enough for VAR to intervene/overturn'... or decision given on field and then also 'not enough for VAR to intervene/overturn'.
Guess who has not been given ANY on field decisions in our favour.
All 3 penalties we have...
There's no law saying you can't tackle from behind. Didn't Murillo make a goal saving tackle from behind a while back? Most tackles are fine if you play the ball and don't clatter the player.
VAR has made some things worse because they are watching in slow motion, things which happen...
The same ref who gave Curtis Jones a red card for that against Spurs.
They literally just make it up as they go along. If 1 ref can't be consistent, what chance is there of any consistency across the board.

Barcelona threatening legal action and the article reminded me of that Belgian game that was completely replayed due to a VAR mistake.
This is the tip of the iceberg. Strap in!
So players and managers have media obligations. That get asked these questions by Sky/BBC/whoever. Then if they don't like the answers, they throw a mardy about it? Isn't that a bit hypocritical.
The FA are the guardians of the game, they should be more worried about the consistent decline...
Said this ages ago.
We got Clattenburg in for a reason yet incredibly the decisions have got worse and there’s more of them. Especially since the FFP breach and subsequent appeal was announced.
Atwell due to officiate Wolves v Bournemouth on Wednesday.
What are the chances 3 days later he deems exactly the same incidents as todays as as fouls.
Not really referring to that. Offside is offside.
Just in general. They have this annoying knack of getting out of situations like that or being competely outplayed and still coming out with a win.
Don’t know if luck is the word, it’s just annoying!
Why should Mr Taylor and Mr Atwell be allowed to f*** off on their merry way without explaining to us plebs why those aren't penalties but they were last week and will be next week for someone else.
Oh it will be 'insufficient contact' and if you go back to previous episodes, he'll have watched a similar incident that was given on field and there wasn't enough to overturn it.
