The fact that Sangare's not a quick transition player that Cooper and to a lesser extent Nuno favour, who's also been toss every time he's played, found himself a regular pick for both Cooper and Nuno until such a point that they're on the cusp of losing their jobs so they seemingly take matters into their own hands and played players based on their system rather than how much they cost.

On one hand you've got those who back Marinakis claiming he's an ambitionlord and heavily involved with the club and that's a good thing, whilst at the same time suggesting he wouldn't have anything to say whatsoever about how a £35m signing was utilised, or not utilised. Funny that.
So no facts at all to support you.

Regular pick? Please define that for me, 'cos I'm missing something if Sangare has been a regular pick.

I find all the acolyte talk a bit ridiculous if I'm honest - imagine folk may have me pegged as one side or the other. Let me be clear I am a fan of Nottingham Forest.

(Unlike lots on here my only concern really is them winning football matches too.)

My take is we all follow Forest we just all have different takes on the best way for Forest to be successful.

I also genuinely think some posters just post to see what reactions they can get from other forum members - they are pretty easy to identify.

I just support Nottingham Forest and my only concern is us winning football games.

He's made 3 starts and 1 sub appearance under Nuno. I'm as confused as you how that constitutes a regular pick.

He's been injured and at AFCON.

He's started regularly when available.

To be clear, regularly doesn't mean every game. It just means he's in the first team picture often. More so than he deserves to be based on performances throughout the whole season.

So moving the goalposts? We're undefeated when Sangara has started under Nuno, maybe he's a lucky mascot...

He played 77% of the games he was available for under Coops (arguably 83%, as the first game he was eligible for was the day after he arrived, so he wasn't considered for selection).
And around 50% under Nuno (obviously the games he was at AFCON and missed with injury aren't counted).

I love a good stat hunt.
It's my inner geek.

Also, I think one of the 'not-selected' games under Cooper was when he came back from an Ivory Coast game with some sort of illness, but couldn't find when that was - which makes the percentage even higher under Coops.

Just to put some fat on the bones this is supposition on your part that they take matters into their own hands, you have no proof that they made these decisions based on the format you outline. You also have no proof that EM gets involved with team selection, yet again supposition. No court would convict on the case you have written.

So many times the posts on here are like conspiracy theorists having a moan as opposed to dealing with facts, you have made it quite clear you are not a fan of EM in previous posts which makes it impossible for anyone to read your posts objectively knowing the bias behind them.

Apologies from a three score and ten plus man as I know from previous conversations that we are another sector that you don’t like. But as I promised you once before I would be more than willing to buy you a couple of good bottles of red wine and discuss Forest till the early hours.

If someone can provide irrefutable evidence to the contrary then I'm happy to change my opinion.

FWIW there have been Athletic articles earlier this season about EM Jr attempting to influence team selections and another one a couple weeks ago about EM observing training for himself. When you combine that with Cooper team selections pre-post Fulham it suggests the potential for some level of interference. I'm not just suggesting the theory because I dislike EM. I can be objective about people I don't like still.

I sometimes wonder if the Athletic has a lot to answer for. Not to say some of it isn't probably true, but there does seem to be an audience out there for owner related drama. I'm happier ignoring/not knowing all of that, though to each their own.

Not sure what’s inherently bad about EM checking out training from time to time anyway. There’s literally a camera crew there half the time.

I suppose it depends how much glowering he does while he’s there.
