I stayed in the Trent End until it was demolished.

Yes,the Derby v Juventus game was shrouded in controversy-maybe Derby could still have
won if Alan Hinton hadn’t missed a 2nd half penalty at the Baseball Ground.
The game in Turin was played in the afternoon,I remember it creating great interest at my
school in Nottingham-which just showed what a huge character Brian Clough was at the time
and demonstrated the excitement the European Cup caused before it was ruined by the
ridiculous Champions League.

A real thriller-I remember Bristol Rovers were unbeaten at the top of the 3rd Division (Leeds
were also unbeaten in the 1st Division at the time).
I recall grazing my hand against the East Stand wall when Neil Martin scored the winner.
