That was the official story. In reality, Cordón had personal (health-related) issues to deal with, returned to Spain and has been out of the picture for a while.

Our 666th manager this season started Carvalho in the very crucial European match against Ferencváros for the Conference League, and our fanbase went berserk. You should see the amount of hate against him in social media; Alf would be considered a diehard Carvalho fan in comparison.

If we eliminate Maccabi Tel Aviv in the round of 16 in the Conference League, the club will have competed by the end of the season in the round of 8 in European competitions in all four major team sports: football (Conference League), basketball (Euroleague), volleyball (CEV cup), handball (EHF cup) and waterpolo (Champions League men and Champions League women). I wonder if that's been done before.

Saturday mornings... 8:15 67A Trent Bus from Jessops Lane to the Vic Baths... hour session in the Oval (bloody freezing).
Sat on the bath side, looking nonchalent and cool as I chatted up a young lady, she completely disturbed my savoir-faire when she stopped me in the middle of my best chat up line, saying " Your knackers are hanging out of your swimming shorts".

Α solid performance after a long while. Up and down the field with good runs, had no problems defensively, upfront he often cut inside instead of doing the overlap out wide. He is still a bit hesitant in duels in my opinion, and I still think he needs to go somewhere where he'll be guaranteed the role of the starter before you even begin to consider him for Forest -if you ever will.
