I reckon I might be slightly less sh*t than Origi.
And here's something else that is slightly less sh*t than Origi.

Can't Play Left-Back
So he’s taken a short term pay cut to escape Turkey and get back over here ?
Surely not. There's no way a contracted player accepts a pay cut just to go out on loan. Something's got to be lost in translation there. I could see Watford paying 30% of his wages and the Turkish club are paying the rest for breaking the loan early. Or, and this is Forest remember, we're paying the other 70%. But if he genuinely has taken a cut just to go back to Watford for a few months, then he's even thicker off the pitch than he is on it 😄

We don’t know how much of his wages the Turkish club was paying either. This deal could well be better for us financially.

FWIW though I still don’t understand what was that bad about him to be exiled to Turkey in the first place. Frustrating sure, but we paid a lot of money and don’t have many other options in the attacking positions. Weird.
Maybe it was attitude rather than ability

He's moving away from the fault line to go back to Watford Junction.

Smart move. Unless he ends up at one of their infamous nightclubs (speaking from experience).

Even if it was attitude related, he's still an asset for the club. Like I said earlier, the only way a loan to Watford works if he plays unreal for them and someone feels like buying him in the summer. It never really felt like Steve got the best of him, at times he was a real source of frustration but in others you could see there is a player in there.

Time will tell but I think we've f**ked up here.

Read the comments under the athletic article by Watford fans. Most don’t seem to want him back, think he will destabilise their team spirit

Never saw a player in there.

Saw a football freestyler masquerading as a professional footballer though.

Well I for one hope he smashes it there - it's as decent opportunity as he will get to rebuild his career, and you'd hope a decent stint would open another door...

A smart move all around. Still over 2 years left on contract. If he can regained that confidence and scoring touch it could benefit us down the line.

Alongside that, any fee or part wage payment will be greatly received and I expect more than we were getting out of Basaksehir.

We've too many players in the squad who have a few good attributes or who do a few good things, but simply aren't up to playing in our side week-in, week-out.

Dennis may work in a different setup, but I think Nuno wants proper pace out wide, and some strength and consistency up top. Dennis doesn't really fit either bill and is an incredibly frustrating player anyway; so it doesn't surprise me that Nuno doesn't want to waste any time on him.

In the Champ he should fair a lot better.

Probably more likely to get a permanent move for him elsewhere if he’s playing every week in the Championship than via the odd unconvincing cameo from our bench.

His record on loan has also been poor. For me, I take a view of - would we be looking to sign a player who has been ineffective in Turkey if he wasn't our player?

Yup.

If Nuno wants the squad trimming, then first step is the chaff, second step is the questionable players who may require too much work to get much from, and Dennis definitely falls into the latter category for me.

I wonder if Brentford fans cared about Maupay's shit Everton loan as he fires in an exocet missile into our bottom corner to win them the game?

Whereas we bring on a rookie kid to give numerous fouls away in injury time.
