Seems to me Nuno didn't want him, maybe they have someone else lined up. Or maybe they are counting on the imminent return of Taiwo coupled with the improved form of Wood being enough. A 70% pay decrease suggests we arn't paying any of his wages now either which has to be good for the all important accounts ledger

Surely not. There's no way a contracted player accepts a pay cut just to go out on loan. Something's got to be lost in translation there. I could see Watford paying 30% of his wages and the Turkish club are paying the rest for breaking the loan early. Or, and this is Forest remember, we're paying the other 70%. But if he genuinely has taken a cut just to go back to Watford for a few months, then he's even thicker off the pitch than he is on it

Even if it was attitude related, he's still an asset for the club. Like I said earlier, the only way a loan to Watford works if he plays unreal for them and someone feels like buying him in the summer. It never really felt like Steve got the best of him, at times he was a real source of frustration but in others you could see there is a player in there.
Time will tell but I think we've f**ked up here.

We've too many players in the squad who have a few good attributes or who do a few good things, but simply aren't up to playing in our side week-in, week-out.
Dennis may work in a different setup, but I think Nuno wants proper pace out wide, and some strength and consistency up top. Dennis doesn't really fit either bill and is an incredibly frustrating player anyway; so it doesn't surprise me that Nuno doesn't want to waste any time on him.
In the Champ he should fair a lot better.

His record on loan has also been poor. For me, I take a view of - would we be looking to sign a player who has been ineffective in Turkey if he wasn't our player?

Yup.
If Nuno wants the squad trimming, then first step is the chaff, second step is the questionable players who may require too much work to get much from, and Dennis definitely falls into the latter category for me.
